Day 1371. It was a typical day home today. After their nap, we dressed them to go to church. While we were getting ready, the kids watched a few minutes of Bibleman, a kids' show they had watched for the very first time yesterday. They're really enjoying it, especially Emmy. Bibleman is superhero who uses the Bible as his weapon against evil.

We left the house just after 4 pm to take the 4:20 train. Emmy said he was now Bibleman, not Emmy. When we got off the train, Emmy dropped his rabbit that he had insisted to bring along on the rails. It fell between the platform and the train. He was crying hard, but Daddy was able to get the rabbit out of there, while the people were getting on the train.

Then we took the tram to church, where we arrived just as the service was starting. We went to the front, to our usual area. Once worship began, I started dancing with Sammy who was in his wheelchair, and he was having lots of fun. Then Anna arrived who he had been talking about seeing, and so he was happy to see her. She then played a little with all the kids.

At 5:45 we went upstairs to the toddler room. Sammy wanted to play in the toy kitchen, as usual, while the other two got themselves a baby each. Tammy also went to the reading corner and looked at a few books. At 6 pm we were all called to the round carpet with pillows, as the program was starting.

We started with the greeting song with actions, then the individual greeting song, where they get to hug the hand puppet, as well as a huge heart. Emmy told the teacher that he was Bibleman today, and the teacher actually used that as his name in the song. Next they each got a Bible, and we did the Bible song, where they hold their Bibles up high in the air. They were also opening them and looking at them - until the teacher had them put them up. She then did a teaching and taught them three adjectives: friendly, patient and faithful. Difficult for 3-year-olds. Sammy was getting impatient and cranky, asking for food, and so I got up with him, took him to the box with Duplos and other stuff that he likes exploring, and got his dinner box out. While he was playing, I put food into his mouth, while the others were finishing the teaching and doing another action song. Then everyone sat down at the table to eat.

Tammy was impatient to start coloring the paper the teacher had brought and was the first one to start doing so. Emmy preferred playing. And then he discovered the playdoh and wanted to do that. Soon both of them were at the table having fun with the playdoh. Then Randy returned, and Sammy had already started putting the Duplos back in the box as he wanted to go downstairs to see Anna again. By about 7 pm we left to go back downstairs, where Anna joined us in the back, as the service was not over yet.

Before going downstairs, I asked Emmy where his rabbit was that he had insisted on bringing. He'd played with it during worship, but I don't think he had taken it upstairs. We looked everywhere, upstairs and downstairs, but couldn't find it. Emmy was really sad and close to crying. I told him that someone would find it and we'd probably get it back next week. I suggested he'd ask Jesus to find it for him and return it to him, and he did.

At 7:30 we left church to go home. We walked to the tram stop and didn't have to wait long for the train. Sammy had already eaten everything in his box, but ate some of his siblings' food as well. Tammy and Emmy were watching Bibleman on the tram and then on the 8 pm train we took and nearly finished all their food as well. By 8:15 we were back home.

No bathtub tonight given the time. We gave them a quick wash and got them ready for bed. No Bible story either. It was nearly 9 pm by the time they were all in bed, and all three were awake and talking. Sammy wanted Daddy sitting in the chair, not Mommy, but Daddy was only just starting to make his food, which takes some time. I stayed for a while and then walked away. Nobody sat there for a few minutes, but Sammy still wanted Daddy to come, so he sat down by them and stayed until they were asleep. I got myself something to eat, ate, and then started working on today's pictures. Now it's after 1 am and time to finish cleaning up the kitchen and then go to bed.
