Day 1386. It was a typical morning with Emmy being up first, though even earlier than usual, and coming to me frequently for stuff, not letting me sleep. After breakfast, Emmy put his Ryder costume on by himself that he likes wearing, and Tammy got her princess dress out of the drawer that I just had to put on her, and close the buttons on Emmy's costume. After some time they went downstairs with Randy to play. As for me, I had a hard time getting going this morning, but sat down at my computer to work.

Randy and the kids came back upstairs extra early today, at 11:15 am, which doesn't help, when you're trying to get things done. Suddenly three kids want my attention. At 11:45 I went to the kitchen together with Sammy who likes sitting on the floor next to me, when I cook. All I had to do was to boil some noodles for our chicken soup that I had made yesterday. At noon we sat down to eat. Tammy once again ate everything in her bowl, but not the boys. Emmy wanted to play with their tablet, so only the other two had icecream, though he did finish the icecream Sammy wouldn't finish.

It was after 1:15, when I put them to bed, and after the boys were asleep and Tammy was on her way, I left them. I worked some, then closed my eyes at about 2:15 to also get some sleep. However, a few minutes later Sammy was up, and with that Emmy was up as well, and he came and lay down with me for a few minutes. Then he left again. It wasn't long until I heard that Tammy was up as well, and then Randy went downstairs with them all. It was around 3 pm before I finally fell asleep, and I'm really glad I had set an alarm for 3:15 pm or I would probably have overslept. I forced myself up and got ready for my 3:30 pm student. I then taught two hours until 5:20 pm.

As soon as I was done teaching, I quickly put my shoes on so we could leave for exercise class and catch the 5:32 train. We made it, even though I was limping and couldn't go as fast as usual. I had hurt my knee earlier in the day, when I got up to run to help Tammy but didn't see the open balcony door and hit it really hard. I've been limping and hurting since.

After we got off the train, we walked for a little bit to get to the school. The last two times our train had been canceled, so it was nice to be on time again. The teacher started with the usual races - three times with the rings around their bellies to the other end of the gym and back, and then three times them lying on the ground and being pulled to the other end and back. However, I wasn't able to run as usual but had to walk more slowly and limped. Since Tammy had hurt her finger, Randy did the last race with the boys on the ground.

Then the teacher gave out balls, and I started playing ball with Sammy who greatly enjoyed it. And he's really good at catching the ball. We played together for quite some time. Then he discovered that the ball could jump, and I showed him how to dribble. He tried it as well and was laughing, whenever he could make it jump.

In the meantime the teacher had set everything up, and this time the vaulting boxes were a little bit different, as he had two small ones and one tall one. Emmy then came to me because he wanted to swing in the rings, and so Randy took my place with Sammy, while I put Emmy into the rings. In fact, he's pretty good at swinging up into the rings now, and also coming down that way. He wanted me to push him as high as possible, and he was having great fun.

Then it was Sammy's turn, and he wants me to turn him in the rings, which is what is safe. I can hold his legs while turning him, and when he gets tired and lets go of the rope, it makes no difference because I'm holding his legs. I turned him and turned him and turned him, changing directions, but I was still getting dizzy and was ready to quit at some point. He did not want to, but other kids wanted to swing as well, so I got him out. Of course he was crying hard, as I handed him to Randy, who spent the rest of the class with him.

He got a big ball out that he rolled him on, which he enjoys. At the same time Emmy found a cone and played with it for a little bit. Then he wanted me to watch him jump off the vaulting box followed by a somersault. Then both he and Tammy wanted me to take their pictures and video them. And so I have quite a few videos today. It was really funny, when Emmy got to the top of the vaulting box, he swung his arm out and said that he was Super-Emmy. He's been enjoying Bibleman (a superhero), and has been calling himself Bibleman. Super-Emmy was new to me, but he used it a few times.

Then the teacher started taking everything down again, but the kids still wanted to jump. They then ended up staying on the vaulting box, together with other kids, as the teacher rolled it into storage, which they thought was a lot of fun.

And then it was already time for the final race, just running to the other end of the gym and back. I did one and Randy two races with Sammy. Tammy came in first with Emmy second and Sammy being pushed by Daddy last. The class was over, and we went into the locker room to put our shoes back on and leave.

We walked back to the train station. I was extremely windy, but not cold. We only had to wait a few minutes for the 7:23 pm train and were home just after 7:30 pm. I immediately started making their dinner, bread with salami and cutting up fruit, as well as warming up some leftovers. Sammy stayed with me in the kitchen, where I put food into his mouth, while the other two sat at the table watching videos while eating. Then I gave them a quick cleanup, we put their pj's on and put them to bed. As it was after 8:30 pm, there was no story tonight. By 9 pm I left them, and Randy took my place. I got myself something to eat, then went back to work.
