Day 1340. It's been three days since my last report, as music class was canceled on Wednesday, which meant that we stayed home.

Tuesday is the only day when we're all at home all day. I had to teach in the afternoon and evening.

On Wednesday morning the Mobile Support lady came to play with the kids for 90 minutes. In the afternoon I taught again.

On Thursdays Sammy has his weekly physiotherapy session in the afternoon. Randy left with him at 2:30. A little later Emmy came into the room and woke me up. He would not lie down with me and be quiet, unfortunately. After some time Tammy woke up as well, and so I had no choice but to get up to give them something to drink and then to eat. As I'd had some cancelations, I was free until 4:30 pm, which is unusual, and so I took advantage of the time to "do school" with them. I got some cards out with different shapes, and so we practiced what a circle, square, rectangular, triangle, oval and half-circle was. Then we did some stuff in a book, where they had to recognize shapes and find objects in pictures. Then I printed out a page from that book for them, and they had to color specific fish specific colors. Both of them were able to do that without any issues. They each got a star on their paper, and then I let them choose a sticker for their binders. They were happy. School is fun to them.

It was 4 pm and time for them to watch something, and for me to get ready for my student. Yesterday their new sunglasses had arrived that they had asked for on a sunny day, and because Emmy had lied to me repeatedly, he only got his glasses today. He was so very happy! That's why I took their picture with the new sunglasses.

At 4:30 I started teaching, just as Randy and Sammy returned. He then took them all downstairs. I had a male teenage student who did not want to learn, which makes a lesson twice as tiring for me as the teacher. After I was done, some more packages arrived. The kids noticed it and wanted to come upstairs and open them, knowing that something was in there for them. I expected Emmy to throw a fit and start crying, when I said no, later, once they'd come upstairs for dinner, but to my greatest surprise he didn't. He accepted my answer and went back downstairs to play. When they did come upstairs less than an hour later, I called Emmy to come to me as I wanted to talk to him. I then told him how proud I was of him that he had not cried but accepted my answer. He said thank you and hugged me. Tammy had heard our conversation and asked whether I was proud of her too because she hadn't cried either, and I said yes. They asked whether they could open the packages now, and I said yes. Right now Tammy wants everything to be princess-themed, and Emmy is passionate about firefighter Sam. The package contained new bedding with those themes. Unfortunately Tammy's turned out to be thick fleece bedding, which is not what I had wanted, so we'll have to send it back. Emmy was over the moon with his new bedding.

Then I started making their dinner, and they started watching their videos. They ate some, then continued eating in the bathtub. Then we got them ready for bed, I read them Bible stories, prayed for them and flew them into bed. As it was just before 8 pm, I still sat down by them for a few minutes. Just after 8 pm I left to get ready for my 8:10 pm lesson. I then taught until 9 pm, then prepared for my 9:30 lesson, and taught until 10:20 pm. Then I got myself something to eat. After I was done eating, I went back to work. Now it's nearly 1:30 and time to clean up the kitchen and go to bed.
