HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1306. It was a regular morning with Emmy being up first at 7 am. Eventually Randy got up, and after breakfast I cleaned them up and dressed them. They then went downstair with Randy, while I sat down at the computer to work. At 10:45 I went to the kitchen to make the chicken noodle soup. Once it was on the stove I sat back down to work. At noon we sat down to eat, and both Tammy and Emmy ate everything in their bowl, then Tammy and Sammy had icecream.
They then went back to watching videos until 1:15, which is nap time. I put them to bed and sat down by them until they were asleep. At 1:40 I walked away and by 2 pm I was able to lie down myself and close my eyes, which I very much needed. I fell asleep and woke up, when Emmy walked into the room, but fell back asleep after he left. It was a good thing I had set my alarm, as it woke me up at 3:20 pm. I got up and found out that Randy and the kids were all downstairs. And so I got ready for my 3:30 student and then taught until 4:20. After I was done, the kids were pretty much ready to leave the house, and so we all left together a few minutes later.
We walked to the subway, rode it a few stops, then went up to street level to take the tram for one stop. We got to the school a few minutes before the dance class was to start. While there was only one child last week, there were quite a few people there today. Emmy had a dirty diaper, so Randy left with him to take care of it. In the meantime we started the class. We had hoops lying on the ground, and every time the teacher stopped the music, we had to get into the middle of a hoop. I was dancing with Sammy and Tammy and always rolled the wheelchair onto the hoop. When the boys returned, they joined us. Sammy was having fun me wheeling him around as wildly as I could.
Then the teacher had everyone imitate animals that they shouted out. Randy got Sammy out of the wheelchair and put him on the ground, so he could be a party. One time he was laughing and trying hard to get away as fast as possible, and when he does that, he throws his legs high up into the air, and today I happened to take a picture right at that time.
Then the teacher had them sit in a circle and did some stretching exercises. And then it was already time for the final song. I picked up Sammy to do the song with him, where we all walk in a circle. Once my arms got too tired, Randy took him and continued the song with him. I got some great shots of Tammy and Emmy today who were sticking to each other.
Then the class was over. We put their coats and shoes back on and left. It had rained a little before the class, and it still was, so that we walked to the nearby tram stop instead of walking all the way back to the subway. We didn't have to wait too long until the tram came. Once we got off the tram, we made our way to the elevator to go to the subway. We passed a grocery store and decided to go inside to pick up a few items. The kids were enjoying themselves and trying to pick up more than we had come to buy. After we left the store, we finally made it to the subway and rode it home - without watching videos, as they had not participated that well in class.
By 6:35 we were back home, and it was dinner time. The kids had already eaten quite a few snacks, and so I did not give them any bread with salami but only cut up fruit and gave them some left-over pasta. They ate better than I had expected, and they continued eating in the bathtub. Then we got them ready for bed, and I sat down with them to read Bible stories. They always listen intently and want me to keep going and going and going and are not happy, when I finally stop. I then prayed for them, spun them around and flew them into bed. It was 8 pm by the time I sat down by their beds. They were quite talkative for quite some time. Once Randy had finished eating, he took my place so that I could go to the kitchen and get something to eat. After I was done eating, I went back to work. Now it's 12:30 am, and I still need to clean up the kitchen before going to bed.
