HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1456. Somehow it's nice to have a day with just one picture and not much to report. It was a little bit of a rough night last night, and this night seems to become one too, as Tammy has a stuffy nose and is coughing.
This morning they were up at about 7 am and soon went downstairs with Randy to have breakfast. I was in no rush for a change. Eventually I got up and had breakfast, then I started working on the computer, doing office work. I got to talk to Paul in Mali, which was a blessing, and got some great testimonies as well as concerncing news. Sammy came by as he wanted to say hello to Paul. Other than that Randy was downstairs with the kids playing. I then had to teach from 12:30 to 1:30, while Randy was giving the kids some food from what we still have. After I was done teaching, I also grabbed something to eat.
At 2 pm it was time to put the kids to bed, and soon they were all asleep. Then I lay down myself, but barely got to sleep. I must have fallen asleep eventually, as Randy woke me up just before 3:30 pm. All the kids were then awake, and we all went downstairs, as the pastor of the church where we were on Sunday was coming over to spend some time talking. Tammy was screaming, as she often does when she is woken up prematurely, and ended up falling asleep on my chest, while I was sitting on the couch and talking to the pastor. Randy was gone for most of the time to take care of the boys, but joined us in the end. We had a good time talking and connecting.
After he left, I packaged Sammy's one-month-old tablet that already has a cracked screen to return it, then we all got into the car to run some errands. We stopped at the bank, then at the post office to send the package, and finally at an office store that we left empty-handed. And so we were soon back at the house, at 6:30 pm.
Dinner was ready, and so we sat down to eat spaghetti, one of their favorite foods. We had a great time of fellowship with our friends as well, and I had a great conversation with the Mom that led to some connections being made.
At 8 pm we went upstairs to bathe the kids and get them ready for bed. By 8:45 they were in bed, and soon they were asleep. I then got to continue doing office work and make good progress. Now it's 1 am and time to go to sleep.
