HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1405. Yesterday they were up at 4 am, today it was 5:30 am, so that's improvement, on the way to overcoming jetlag. It was Sammy who was the first one up, soon waking up the others. As for me, it was another 4-hour night, while Randy had gone to bed early and said today that he felt more rested than he had in a while. At some point we went downstairs to have breakfast, then the kids briefly went outside to go swing for a little bit, before we piled into the car to go to Grandma's house. Randy had just found out that all the kids had to be in the back seats, and so he moved the front seat to the back, making them all sit next to each other.
Once at Grandma's house, they started playing, while I lay down for a few minutes before going into another room to teach my 10 to 11 lesson. I then continued doing some much-needed office work, but Emmy has now figured out how to open the door with those handles he hadn't encountered before, so the kids kept coming in. In any case, we already had lunch at 11:30 am, and so I quit to put food on the kids' plates and give it to them. After lunch, they continued playing until it was time to go back to the other house so they could take a nap.
Grandma has a small, white, fluffy dog that they like now, even Emmy has lost its fear, but there are two black dogs in the yard, a small and a big one. I always have to carry Emmy from the car to the house and back, and ever since the little one bit Tammy a little into her hand (playing), I have to carry her now to. As for the big dog at their half-sister's house, Tammy is okay with it, but I always have to carry Emmy. Once inside the house, they are eager to be with the cuddly cat that always comes to us and to our room. Even Emmy has now lost his fear and is cuddling her. Today I took a picture of Tammy hugging it, and it put its head into Tammy's neck. Sammy really loves the cat and asks for it a lot, but then he still has some respect for it and is sometimes a little insecure. He's also asking for his half-sister a lot, saying her name.
At 1:30 I put them to bed for their nap, and they fell asleep quickly. I soon did the same, but did not get much sleep. After we were all up, we went downstairs, where there were some visitors. All but one left after a while, and the kids were having fun. Then we got into the car to go to Grandma's house again, where they were having fun. I got a great picture of Grandma with all three kids. She was doing some reading to them again. Later she got a magnet dart board out that the kids just loved. However, it soon was time to go back to the house, and Emmy was very upset about having to stop playing with it.
Back at the house we had dinner all together, then they kids started playing again. Later they got a bubble gun out that they just had so much fun with. Then we went into the yard, where they had set up a sprinkler to play with. It was shooting water into every direction, and Tammy and Emmy screamed with delight running into it. Sammy did not want it at first and preferred going into the swing, but he enjoyed it later. Tammy and Emmy were having the greatest time. Then we decided it was time to go back inside. They went straight into the bathtub, then we were getting them ready for bed. I sat down on the floor by them and found a great bedtime story to read them. Then I prayed for them and put them to bed. It was after 8:30 pm. Sammy had me sing to them again. Tonight they were not falling asleep as easily as the last few nights. Tammy was the first one quieting down, then Sammy, and Emmy needed the longest. In fact, I got up to sit on our bed and turned my computer on before he was asleep. He wanted to be with me, but there was no room on the bed for him, and he was okay with it.
I started working, but soon my falls were falling shut. I finally stopped resisting and kept them shut for a little bit. Then I felt a little better, enough to continue going and finish the pictures and the report. Now it's after midnight and my eyes are closing again. Time for some sleep.
