HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1404. While I had not scheduled any lessons for yesterday, I had three scheduled today. We're 7 hours behind Austria, so most of my lessons are taking place in the morning. Because of my 10 am lesson, I had set an alarm for 8:30 am, which was completely unnecessary. I had gone to bed at 11:30 pm, and during the next few hours Emmy came and left several times. At 4 am he was up for good, then Sammy was as well, and after a while Tammy joined them. I was forced to get up as well, and that was the end of the night. After just over 4 hours of sleep for me, and interrupted sleep. The kids were enjoying the cat again who came right away, when I opened the door.
Even though it was really early we finally decided to go downstairs to have breafast. They were playing, while I was making eggs and Randy oatmeal. After breakfast, we dressed them and left the house to drive to Grandma's house, where we arrived by 9 am. I set up my computer in an unused room and turned the AC on in there, as it's been really hot. At 10 am I started teaching and did so until noon. When I came back out, everyone was ready for lunch. We had some leftovers, and then left to return to the other house for their nap. It took a while to get them to lie down, but then the boys were asleep immediately. Tammy wasn't quite yet, when I left her at 1:45 to go downstairs to prepare my 2:30 lesson. I was still teaching, when I heard crying upstairs. It was Emmy. I interrupted my lesson, and shouted upstairs that Emmy could come downstairs, which he then did. Today the tiredness from the trip and jetlag were worse than yesterday. All three cried, when woken up after their nap. Emmy spent the remaining 20 minutes of my lesson sitting in my lap and lying against my chest. Then the others came downstairs as well. I was time to go back to Grandma's place. Tammy was so tired that she threw a fit because she wanted to swing on the swing she could see outside. It was extremely hot, but we let her swing a little, and she calmed down. Of course Sammy wanted to swing as well, and Emmy would not leave the house unless I put him on my shoulders, as he was scared of the dog. Sammy got into the swing as well and loved it, and was crying, when I took him back out so we could leave. We put him into the car against his will, strapped the others in as well, and drove to Grandma's house. They were still visibly really tired, but that soon subsided as they started playing and having fun. That fun level increased, when their half-sister and nieces arrived, and they all started playing together. Grandma got to read some books to all three kids, which was great, and Sammy played ball with his half-sister and her youngest daughter. Emmy's fun level went up even more, when his brother-in-law arrived who is a fun guy having fun with him. They then all went outside to play but returned quickly because of the intense heat.
At 6:30 we were having dinner, then we returned to the house, gave them a bath and put them to bed. They wanted to hear a story, so I read them one. Then they finally lay down to sleep. It was already going on 9 pm. The boys were asleep immediately and Tammy only needed a little bit longer. Easy bed times right now!
I was really tired myself but had work to do, so I had no choice but to turn my computer. Randy soon fell asleep, but I pushed myself to go on as long as possible. I finally gave up finishing and turned my computer off just before 1 am.
