HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1403. I wasn't able to write a report last night, so it will be a little harder to write it today.
After a few hours of sleep, they were excited, when the cat decided to visit in the morning. All three couldn't get enough of her, and Emmy is losing his fear more and more. After they were dressed, we went downstairs to have breakfast. The kids were having fun with the toys, while Randy and I were making breakfast. Soon Randy's daughter and grand-daughters joined us as well.
After breakfast, we got in the car and drove down the hill to Randy's mother's house. The long-awaited moment had finally come for Randy's mother to meet her grand-kids, and our children to meet their other grand-mother. It was a great moment. The kids started playing and exploring all the toys that they could find in the house. Soon Randy's daughter and grand-daughters also joined us, and our kids started playing with them. The older one is a year younger than our kids, so they're playing really well with each other.
At lunch time we sat down at the table for corn and tuna sandwiches. Our kids had never had tuna before and didn't care for it, but they sure love corn. And they enjoyed dessert, of course. After lunch, we returned to the house Randy had built and put the kids down for a nap. Of course in Austria it would have been bed time at that point. They fell asleep quickly, but I never got a nap, as I had too much work to do. After an hour they were up again, and we got back into the car to drive back to Randy's mother's house. The kids are still enjoying riding the car, and Emmy always wants to sitin the front, so he and his sister have to take turns. Sammy has to sit in the one seat that is in the back, as it gives him more support.
Back at their grand-mother's house, they went back to playing. I was impressed at how well they were doing considering the ardous trip and the time difference, but of course you could tell they were tired. They were still playing really well. They enjoyed jumping on grandma's bed and playing with the many toys. Sammy played with his headset a lot, switching out the chips with the stories, but he also loves playing ball and had fun doing so with his half-sister and younger niece. When Randy's son-in-law joined us, both Emmy and Sammy had lots of fun with him.
We then all had dinner together, but the kids didn't eat very much. After dinner we drove back to Randy's former house, where the kids briefly enjoyed the toys there before we went upstairs to give them a bath and put them to bed. It all took some time, and so it was about 8:30 or later before they were in bed. They insisted on a story, so I looked one up on the internet, then it was bedtime. I sat down on the floor with them and started singing, which Sammy wants me to do. Soon all three were fast asleep. No surprise there!
I sat down by my computer to work on pictures and write a report, while Randy soon went to bed. I worked until 11:30 pm, but then could not go on any more and went to bed - without having written my report.
