Day 1426. Last night Emmy slept the whole night next to me; he came just as I was going to bed just before midnight. Tammy once again did not come at all. This morning I was the one up first, at 6:30, probably because I'm not used to sleeping this long. By 7 am Sammy was up, and Emmy then also woke up. We all still stayed in bed a while, as we did not have to be anywhere this morning, thank God. Tammy always needs longer to wake up and also joined us in bed at some point. Then we all got up and went downstairs to have breakfast.

After breakfast we returned upstairs, where I turned my computer on to work, while the kids were playing. At one point Randy also took them into the garden to play ball, but they soon returned, as it was too hot. Just after noon we went to the kitchen to once again eat leftovers. After going back upstairs, they still played ball for a little bit, then it was time to lie down for their nap. I gave in to them asking for a story before sleeping, but only read half, when I saw how long it was. Tammy was not happy at all and was crying. I put them to bed, and all three fell asleep pretty fast. Then I lay down myself.

At 2:30 Sammy woke up first, then Emmy. We got them ready to leave, then I had to wake up Tammy who sleeps well and is pretty cranky after her nap. At 3 pm we left the house together for the 45 minute drive to the swimming pool. My friends had recommenced that location. We drove on little roads through the mountains until we got there at 3:45 pm. The kids were excited when they saw the pool and slides. We walked in and stopped right by the entrance to put their swim suits on as well as sunscreen. We were still waiting for our friends to arrive who were arriving just after 4 pm. The kids were really impatient to go swimming, and excited, when our friends finally came.

We walked across to where there was water coming out of the ground and put our stuff together on the grass. One of our friends stayed to protect our possessions, while we walked to the water. The water was pretty cold, but the kids were having fun. It didn't long for Tammy to come and ask to go into the pool, so we walked over there. There were lots of people everywhere, but it didn't disturb us. They played with the waterfall, then we went deeper. Suddenly a voice over the loudspeakers said that everybody had to get out of the water, so we all left the water. They were inspecting the water. Then they said that they had found poob in the water, which meant that it would take 30 minutes before everyone could go back in. That was very disappointing to the kids. We had no choice but to go back to where the water was coming out of the ground and play with that. Carol had Sammy, and Randy was with the other two, while I was trying to take some pictures. And then Emmy and Tammy ran through the water tunnel coming from opposite sides and ran straight into each other, their heads colliding. I didn't even know at the time that I had taken a picture of them crying right after. They both have big knots forming on their foreheads.

I comforted them, while Sammy was cold. Terri, though, was too hot in the sun and was moving to the shade. I asked the kids to help carry our stuff there. Tammy did not, but Emmy actually picked up ALL the swimrings which I didn't think he was capable of. Bibleman at work!

When the pool reopened after long 30 minutes, the kids couldn't wait to go in there. They were eager to go down the slide, especially Tammy. They were too small to go down themselves, so I asked whether I could go with them, but the lifeguard said no. Tammy was very disappointed.

Our friend then suggested that we'd go have dinner in the concession area before they'd go back into the water until closing time at 7 pm. It wasn't allowed to bring your own food, but we bought some fries and they gave their okay. Terri had bought all the stuff that the kids enjoy, and they all had food before saying they were ready to go back into the water.

We went back in, and the kids were jumping off the side of the pool - until they were told not to. Putting them on my shoulders in the water was also not allowed. It seemed that they could not do anything fun, and they were not happy about that. In Austria they can do all those things. And then, suddenly, everyone had to leave the pool again. They said somebody had vomitted into the water, and that the pool was closed for the day. The kids were pretty disappointed to already have to get out of the water.

Our friends left, and we also started dressing them and ourselves, and then walked back to the car to drive back to the house. They were still talking about everything not being allowed. On our 45-minute drive to the house, they were playing with their tablets. Emmy agreed to put his tablet with the songs in the middle, with me holding it, so both he and Sammy could listen and watch. It was precious to me to see the boys holding hands.

On our way home we made a quick stop at Walmart, then we got to the house just after 8 pm. We all sat down for icecream and cookies, as the kids were asking for them, then we went upstairs to get them ready for bed. I had been pretty well throughout the day, but by this time I was shot. I could barely keep my eyes open. I still managed to do my part, and finished the bedtime story from their nap time. Then I prayed for them and put them to bed. It was going on 9 pm, so it was high time. Tammy was asleep first. I lay down by the boys, then walked away, but Emmy wanted me back. Randy then walked in there to take my place.

As for me, I turned my computer on to work. Before midnight my eyes were already falling closed while writing. Now I made it to nearly 1 am, and it's time to go to bed.
