HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1425. Last night I went to bed just before midnight; I don't know how long it's been since I've gone to bed this early. During the night Tammy never came, but Emmy did, but I frequently woke up independent from him, just because I wasn't feeling well. We got up late, just before 8 am. After breakfast we got them ready to go and left the house at 10 am.
We drove to the church I've been connected with for over 15 years to meet with the young man in charge of the missionaries now. Randy took care of the kids who were enjoying the toys in the room, while I talked to him, telling him my story and the story of what God has done in Mali. Just before noon we said our good-byes and loaded the kids back into the car. We only drove down the road to a restaurant, where we were meeting with two friends. That I didn't take a picture shows you how sick I was. I didn't even want to eat anything. We enjoyed catching up with our friends, then said our good-byes.
We drove back to the house, where we arrived at 2 pm. It was time for their nap. They fell asleep pretty quickly, then I lay down myself, and so did Randy. At 3:30 Emmy was the first one to wake up, and Sammy followed suit right away. We started getting them ready to leave the house, and I had to wake up Tammy who did not appreciate it at all. She was very cranky and crying, all the way to the car.
We only had a 5-minute drive to the farm/petting zoo, where we were meeting up with two of my good friends. We went in and walked around, from animals to playgrounds to animals, and the kids enjoyed it all. I was in really bad shape and just tagged along. The kids were having lots of fun, and our friends also invited them to have some icecream. The place closed at 6 pm, and that's when we left.
We drove back to the house, where I lay down for half an hour, while the kids were playing. Then I went to the kitchen to warm up leftovers for everyone to eat. They ate little, however, while I still didn't want to eat anything. Later I gave them a quick cleanup and put them to bed. Tammy was crying, when I told her I was not up to reading a bedtime story tonight. At 8:30 they were in bed, and it was Emmy who needed the longest to fall asleep. First Tammy needed me, then Emmy did. Then I lay back down in bed feeling miserable.
At 10 pm I was finally getting hungry enough to have a few bites to eat. I decided to at least get the pictures downloaded and organized, and then felt up to writing my report. Finishing the pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.
