HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1417. It was Sammy who was up at 7 am and waking us up. He felt better today, but tonight he was pretty hot again, and we ended up giving him a suppository at midnight, when he woke up again.
After breakfast, I was getting ready to teach, as I had three lessons in a row, from 9 to noon. I sat upstairs with a view of the others downstairs and took pictures ever so often. First, the kids were painting, then our friends read books to them, then they made muffins. Sammy is enjoying listening to music on his new tablet, and he was pretty excited, when he got a package today. It was the sleeve for the tablet.
At noon we sat down to eat, then they played some more before I put them to bed at 1:30 pm. Once they were close to sleeping, I moved from being on the floor with them to my bed and also fell asleep. Sammy was then the first one up again having fallen asleep first, and today it was Tammy who woke up from the noise, but not Emmy, which is unusual. I had to go get ready for my 3:30 pm student and asked the others to wake up Emmy just after 3 pm. Then I taught and was ready with it all just after 4:30. Before I was even done teaching, I was told that we needed to go to the store, but they were gonna wait for me. And so we left after everyone was ready, and our friend came with us. Sammy has been asking for her a lot, and as she was behind him, she gave him her hand.
We went to the closest store, which was a Dollar General. The kids enjoyed the ball and kids' chairs right by the entrance. Sammy was sitting in the shopping cart. We grabbed a few items for our trip tomorrow, paid and loaded everything and everyone into the car. Then we returned to the house.
The kids still wanted to go swimming, even though it was already later. We all put our swim suits on and headed down to the lake for one last swim. Sammy wanted to go swimming too and really enjoyed doing so together with me. The other two also had lots of fun, as did we all. Our friends were cooking dinner at the house in the meantime. After a while we went inside, showered, and had dinner with them. They have been really spoiling us with the food they've cooked. Next week we'll have to take care of our meals ourselves.
After great fellowship at dinner, the kids were watching stuff on their tablets, while I went back to work. Randy has been enjoying talking to our friend who was his best man all week; he's talked more this week than he has in months. Sammy was getting sleepy and asking for me, so Randy took him to me. Then he asked for our friend, so she came and took him, together with his tablet. He was enjoying being with her.
At 8:30 I put the kids to bed; Sammy's body was hot, and he fell asleep right away. After the story, I prayed for them, then lay down by them. Some kid could always take a hold of some body part of mine to cuddle against. After some time, I got up and sat on the floor nearby them; both Tammy and Emmy were still awake. Eventually I left the room and stopped to listen whether everyone was complaining about it, which was not the case. And so I returned to my computer to work. I did some travel planning, then finally started the pictures rather late. Now it's after 1 am and time to go to bed. We have another travel day tomorrow.
