HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1415. Today it was Sammy who was the first one up, and already at 7 am, and he woke up his brother. When I touched him, I noticed that his body was hot, and he's had a fever all day long. Tonight he's woken up several times already until we gave him a suppository to sleep. He seemed fine, however, during the day, except for a short time in the afternoon, and he didn't have much of an appetite.
Emmy kept asking for food, and at about 8 am we all got up and had breakfast together. Sammy kept asking for the dog. In fact he's constantly looking for him. Just before I started teaching at 10 am, Randy and the kids left together with our friend to go to a nearby playground. Unfortunately nobody took a picture while they were there. They already returned before I was done teaching; it was hot outside.
After lunch, I put them to bed for their nap at 1:30 pm and stayed with them so they'd fall asleep. At some point I lay down on my own bed and did fall asleep for a short time. It was Emmy who woke up first and woke me and Sammy up. He wanted his tablet, and so did Tammy, once she was awake. Our friend then said that she was making cookies and was inviting them to help make them. They greatly enjoyed that experience.
However, they were eager to go into the lake and on their boat ride. We put the sun-blocking bathing suits on them that our friend had given them, and they loved them. While our friend was removing the tarp from the boat, they were already in the water. Then we walked to the boat and got on for our ride. Sammy was eager to steer a boat again and got to do so. I went to the front with Tammy and Emmy, and they stayed with me for a while before returning to the back, where Randy was.
After a short round-trip we docked again, and the kids finally got to go into the water, and so did I. For the first time even though I've been coming here for about 15 years. I just don't like natural lakes. The bottom was sandy, but there were also stones and algae. Emmy wasn't happy either and then put his plastic shoes on. They were having lots of fun in the water, including Sammy. After some time Sammy had had enough, and so I returned to the house with him. He was cold, given the fever, and so I gave him a hot shower. Then I dressed him and even put a jacket on him before putting him into bed and covering him up. He was happy, when I gave him the tablet to watch children's songs. It was just the two of us for a while before the others returned, and I gave them a bath as well.
Then we sat down at the table to have dinner together. They played some more on their tablets after, while I was working, then Randy got Sammy ready for bed before the others came as well. I read them a story and put them to bed after 9 pm. Sammy fell asleep right away, but woke up a few times later. I left them, when Emmy asked for Daddy, and returned to my computer to work. Now it's nearly 1 am, and my eyes keep falling shut.
