HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1414. It was a quiet, laid-back day today. I had only gotten to bed at 2 am, and Emmy was the first one up at 8 am, after he had come and gone to me all night. I had a student from 11 to 12 and did some work. It was raining outside for most of the day, so the kids had to stay inside. They were having fun with our friends and with the dog. Sammy constantly calls for the dog who only stays with Sammy when our friend is also there to keep him there. Our friend let them participate in feeding the dog today, which they enjoyed. What Sammy enjoyed even more was to play ball with our friend; balls are just the best. When the kids said they were getting bored, our friends got the paint out, and they started painting, doing so while I was teaching.
We had lunch late at 1:30, then I put them to bed at 2 pm. By 2:30 Tammy and Emmy were asleep, but Sammy was STILL awake, and it took me until 3 pm to get him to sleep, finally. Then I lay down myself, but only got little sleep. When Emmy was the first one to get up, I got up myself. Sammy woke up as well, and then I woke Tammy up. They were sleepy, and so I let them play with their tablets. Emmy was disappointed that he couldn't go out and throw sticks for the dog to fetch. Our friends were getting ready to leave, so they continued with their tablets, while I was working at the computer. That's when my friend took this great picture of us. Sammy had just discovered the piano and was greatly enjoying it. He also got to play with the toy kitchen.
At 6 pm we sat down at the table to get something to eat, then they wanted to walk down to the lake, so we did. They found some sticks and enjoyed hitting the water with them and splashing around. I was sitting in a chair with Sammy, who wanted to hear his favorite song. The kids wanted to go into the water, but we told them tomorrow, when our friends are back.
After a while we returned to the house and took them straight to the shower, got them cleaned up and put their pj's on. Then I still let them play, while continuing to work. At 9 pm we got them ready for bed, and I still read them a story before putting them to bed. And once again it was Sammy who did not want to sleep. And then he asked for Daddy again, so I went upstairs to work, while Randy stayed with him. Our friends had left the house to celebrate their anniversary. I continued working and working until everyone had gone to bed. Now it's 1:30 am and my turn.
