Day 663. Last night it was 2:45 before I went to bed; too many pictures, and I didn't even get it all done. This morning I heard Emmy again, looked at the clock on the wall above my head and read 8:15, so I got up right away, made their breakfast, and we sat down to feed them. That's when I looked at the clock again and was puzzled, because it turned out it was 7:30, an hour earlier than I had thought, so we could have slept another 45 minutes. That meant I only slept just over 4 hours last night.

After breakfast, I cleaned and dressed Tammy and Emmy and went downstairs with them. I turned worship music on and started dancing and worshipping, and they started dancing as well. I had them on my arm at some point, and prayed for them individually. I was on the floor, when Randy brought Sammy, and so I prayed for him right there. Then we got the Bible out and read some Bible stories together. When Randy came with his breakfast, I left them to go upstairs to clean up and work.

I was very tired and wondered how well I was gonna be able to work. Even though I had plenty of work to do, I decided to use the unexpected extra hour to take a bath, which I rarely get to do any more, and I think that's just what I needed. I was actually able to work after that.

Sammy was so cranky and tired that Randy already put him down for his nap an hour earlier, at 9:30. He actually ended up sleeping for two hours, until lunch time, which was good for him. I started cooking at 11 am, and already heard Emmy cry hard downstairs. I went downstairs to get him, which made the girl cry, and against my best judgment, I let her come upstairs with us as well. Now I had TWO children in the kitchen with me that wanted me to hold them, while I was trying to get our food ready. Quite a challenge. They were tired too. After a long time juggling the situation, Randy finally came upstairs at the time, when it was about ready to be served. All the noise finally woke Sammy up, and so we all sat down to eat. Tammy did a good job eating, Emmy not so much, but he was just very tired, and I had to get him out of the chair and let him sit in my lap. I finally cleaned him up and put him to bed. It was only 12 o'clock, but he fell asleep fast. I then cleaned up and dressed the girl and was able to put her to bed, as her brother was already asleep. She protested at first, but calmed down quickly and soon fell asleep as well. Sammy needs longer to eat, and once he was done and Randy had cleaned him up and dressed him, he got to be in the baby swing, while Randy made his coffee and ate his dessert. Then they went downstairs together, while I was working on the computer.

Thankfully they slept a long time, which is not always the case with Emmy. At 2 pm Randy came upstairs to feed Sammy, which was really too early, and the noise woke them up. Tammy always needs a long time before she's ready to eat. I got them out of bed, and held Tammy, while Emmy was running around. I knew it was too early to try to feed them. They wanted to go out on the balcony, so I opened the door and we went outside.

We sat down on my beach chair, which they enjoyed. They also enjoyed the view of cars leaving and people walking by. After a while we went inside, and I got them to eat a little bit, not ever trying to put them into the chairs. We still had some sun hats out from yesterday, and they ended up doing a fashions show with them. The green hat was exactly the same color as Emmy's body!

Then I took them downstairs, while Sammy went to bed for his afternoon nap. Randy took my place downstairs, so I could do some more work. I was doing office work, but there was so much crying from Emmy downstairs that I finally abandoned what I was doing to go downstairs earlier than planned. It was just after 4 pm, and I opened the downstairs door so they could go outside, and we all went outside, while Randy went upstairs for a break.

They headed straight for the sand box and played in there for a while. I sat down in the grass with Sammy, and soon the other two also came out of the sandbox. They had some balls outside they played with, and Tammy sat on the car and moved while pushing with her feet like an expert. Sammy was rather cranky, and so I kept busy trying to make him happy. Emmy pulled out the neighbors' baby pool, and Tammy sat in it, and he also grabbed the broom to clean up the sand, but Daddy ended up really doing that in the end, and putting all the sand toys away. It was really hot, and nicely cool inside, so we finally went back inside, though the girl was really upset about that.

I stayed a little bit, but when they were finally all happy and busy and had their Daddy, I left a few minutes early to get their dinner ready. I had plenty to do, so that dinner ended up being at 6 pm, as usual. They did not eat much, and did not eat much in the bathtub either. Tammy is suddenly not interested in bread any more. Sammy wasn't that interested in food either. At least Tammy drank the cereal with milk pretty much all by herself.

We got them out, put them to bed, I waved good-night, and did not have to come back. They were tired and fell asleep fast, except for Sammy, who'd had two naps today. I had to return for him once, but he was fine after that and soon fell asleep.

I got some food, ate, and went back to work. Now it's going on 1 am, and I'm extremely tired and need to fall into bed as soon as possible.
