Day 649. Last night I was so sick I had to stop working and lie down at 9:30 pm. At 3:30 am Sammy needed milk, which is rare. Surprisingly Emmy never requested his milk he usually has around 11 pm, and that every night. This morning, we got up at our usual 8 am time, even though Sammy had been fussing for a while. After breakfast I took them downstairs, where we worshipped and prayed and read one of the new Bibles, which they enjoyed. When Randy came to stay, I went upstairs to clean up and do office work.

Today we had leftovers to eat, so I was able to work nearly until 11:30 am. Then I went to the kitchen and warmed up the food and called them upstairs to eat. They were hungry, eating everything, plus fruit and yoghurt. A lot of stuff is happening at the table, and today, at several meals, Emmy was pointing at each member of the family saying their names. I was "mama", Tammy was "mama", Emmy himself was "mama", Sammy was "mama" and Randy was "papa". I guess they all have so many m's in their names, that "mama" is the logical way to say it, but it was still funny.

Once they were done I cleaned them up and dressed them, and Randy went downstairs with them, while I cleaned up and dressed Sammy and put him to bed. It's usually 12:15, when lies down for his nap.

Then I started making my own lunch and started eating, when 12:40 came around, which is when I put Emmy to bed. Ten minutes later he was asleep, and I called Randy and Tammy upstairs and put her to bed. I continued eating, then cleaning up, and then went back to doing office work. Tammy had a hard time falling asleep, more so than usual, and Sammy woke up before she ever fell asleep. Thankfully he enjoyed himself in his bed for another half hour before he got cranky and Randy went downstairs with him. Emmy woke up not long after, and did not fall back asleep on me, so I took him downstairs as well. Tammy still slept for a while, waking up just before 3 pm, just as I was getting their bread with peanut butter ready.

The boys came upstairs to eat. Emmy went into his chair, but Tammy refused to go in there, as usual. Soon Emmy wanted out too, and then they were running around while eating. At least they were eating. Then we took them all downstairs, where Randy stayed with them, while I went back to work. I didn't work for long, though. At 4:15 I grabbed some pants and shoes and went downstairs to take them outside for a little bit. It was another hot and sunny day. Our neighbors' children were playing in the sandbox in their swim trunks with lots of water, so we decided to head to the playground closest to us. We have to walk through a narrow path to get there. There were no other kids there today, so they had it all to themselves. They love the little house there, and it even has a working doorbell. They also enjoyed the slide and the swings. Sammy got to stand quite a bit. One time he was trying to grab Daddy's hat, who was trying to put it on his head, while Emmy wanted to get the ball out of his hands.

As 5:30 was approaching, we decided to go back home. They like pushing buttons of any kind, and I had to keep them from pushing our neighbors' doorbells, and then encouraged them to push our own. We took their clothes back off and took them downstairs, where Randy stayed with them, while I was making their dinner. Just after 6 pm they came back upstairs to eat. Then they went into the bathtub, where they finished their food, before coming out and going to bed. I heard them play and talk for a little while, but then it was suddenly quiet, very suddenly and rather early. I never had to go check on them tonight.

I made my food, ate, and went back to work. Thank God I was feeling 95% restored today and had a normal evening of working on the computer and cleaning up the kitchen and dining room. And it looks like it's gonna be my regular 1 am bedtime.
