Day 635. Last night I went to bed at 12:20, but it took me a while to fall asleep. This morning it was Emmy once again who I heard from 7 am onwards; he's crying so I'll come to pick him up. At 7:45 I did and sat down with him on my chest. Now it was his sister who was complaining and jealous. After a few minutes, we all got up and got them out of their beds. I made their breakfast, and went downstairs after, where we read books until Randy came to stay. I also for the 100th time put all the books in a row on the shelf; they only last a few minutes.

I took my computer and went upstairs to clean up and then do office work. Just before 11 am I went to the kitchen to cook for the five of us - rice with vegetables and chicken. At 11:30 they came upstairs to eat, and Tammy and Emmy ate everything on their plates. And then watermelon, banana, apple and yoghurt. Even though Sammy is finally fine again, getting him to eat is still a challenge.

After lunch, I took Emmy and Tammy downstairs, while Randy finished with Sammy and put him to bed. Then he took my place, and I went upstairs to clean up. At 12:40 I went downstairs to get Emmy. I sat down in the rocking chair with him, rocked him a few minutes, and then put him to bed. That worked really well. A few minutes later he was asleep, and I could put Tammy to bed, who fell asleep after a few minutes of playing.

Once I was done with clean up, I went back to doing office work, even though I was pretty tired. Some time after 2 pm, Emmy woke up crying, and I picked him up and lay down with him. His siblings woke up as well, and Randy picked up Tammy and sat down with her. Emmy didn't stay long with me, and also joined Daddy and sister. Tammy is always having somewhat of a hard time after waking up from her nap, wanting to be held, and not wanting into her chair. But today it was Emmy who I could not get into the chair, and so I fed him on my lap. Once Tammy gets her peanut butter, she's fine in her chair. Tammy really enjoys feeding her brothers, and enjoyed feeding Emmy, who willingly ate everything she gave him.

As it was once again the only warm and sunny day, we decided to go to the playground, and so we dressed them all for the warm weather and left. We decided to go to the really nice playground in the gardens we've been to once. I had Emmy on the tricycle, while Tammy and Sammy were in the double stroller. It was a relatively long walk to the bus stop. When we got there, a bus was just leaving, and it comes in 15 minute intervals. Great! I took Emmy out of the tricycle and held him, as it was easier to get onto the bus with him that way, and I would sit down on a seat with him. When the bus finally came, there were already three strollers inside and no space for us. We had to let it leave without us. So frustrating! There's another route to get there that we will take next time.

It was getting late and there was no point waiting. We walked all the way back to our apartment building and then continued walking. We have two little playgrounds closeby and hadn't been to the second one in a while that was a little further away, so that's where we were going.

And they greatly enjoyed it! It's all gravel, and I was surprised at how busy they were playing with it. They enjoyed picking up the gravel, putting it into containers, and throwing it. Of course Sammy was putting it into his mouth, and Tammy was giving it to him, and Randy kept making sure he had none in his mouth. There was also a swing and a slide that they enjoyed. And a little sandbox, and a merry-go-round. Sammy got to stand by himself for a while, holding onto the window sill of the play house.

After staying there for quite some time, we decided to slowly start on our way back home, which was taking us right by the other playground. There were some other children, which always fascinates them, and they were watching closely. At the very end/beginning of the playground is the bouncy chicken, and just before we left, all three of them got to sit on it at the same time, which was a little tight. I was hoping for a good shot of all three, but that's really hard to get. Sammy wasn't very happy.

Then we left and walked back home. Emmy wanted to be carried, and at first Tammy was on the tricycle, and then I put Sammy on it, cautiously, making sure he wan't falling off. Thankfully it has a seatbelt. He rolled into our building and all the way to and into our apartment, while the other two were walking/running.

It was just after 5 pm, when we got home, so I went straight to work making their food. They were running around and coming to me for bread with cream cheese. Once I was done, we all sat down to eat. Once they stopped eating, I combined their food on one plate that I took to the bathroom. After taking them out of their seats and cleaned them up, and then I took them downstairs, where we had about half an hour to play. We actually read books the whole time. It was just me with the three of them.

At 6:15 we all went upstairs and into the bathtub, where they all finished their food. Emmy was already rather cranky. By 6:45 the first one was in bed, and by 7 all of them. I thought Emmy would be the first to sleep, but he ended up being the last, needing a whole hour before he finally fell asleep. I had to interrupt eating at one point to check on them, and Emmy was not happy, when I walked away. I did sit down for a few minutes, but not for long.

After I was done eating, I went back to work. Now it's half past midnight, but everything is done, and so I'm heading to bed as soon as I can. I'm very tired.
