Last night I was so tired I had no choice but to go to bed before midnight. This morning, we got up just after 8 am, and - surprise, surprise - Emmy had NOT taken his pj's off! It's been a while since I've seen that! He only had one arm out of the sleeve.

After breakfast, I took Tammy and Emmy downstairs, then Randy brought Sammy, once he was ready. Then the Mobile Support Lady arrived at 9 am to play with them, especially Sammy. I was holding Sammy at that time, as he was a little whiny, and he rested his head on my shoulder, being content. He was fine, when I set him down and left, and Randy was already coming with his breakfast.

I went upstairs to clean up, and then turned my computer on to work. It was already 9:30. At 11 I stopped to go cook lunch for the five of us. I don't make beef often, as Sammy still has a bit of a hard time eating it, but I did today. I also had potato wedges left over from our ordered meal last night, and opened a jar of rice with vegetables. Tammy and Emmy ate everything on their plates, but Sammy was having somewhat of a hard time. I cleaned them up, dressed them again, and let them run around until Sammy was ready to go lie down for his nap. There was an empty Amazon box sitting on the floor, and Emmy actually sat down inside it. I wouldn't have thought that he could fit in there! I then put Emmy to bed at the same time as his brother, and Randy took Tammy downstairs, while I was helping Emmy to fall asleep instead of partying. I still had not eaten myself (Randy had), but finally he was asleep and Tammy could come upstairs and go to bed as well. Then I was able to eat myself.

Once I was done eating, I went back to work, but it was progressing slowly, and I was still not able to finish yesterda's report. Even though I was amazed at how long they were sleeping today, and Emmy never woke up early, as he usually does. I believe this is how it always goes the day after church; they're catching up on sleep. Emmy finally woke up after about 2.5 hours of sleeping, and Tammy did at the same time. However, even with the noise, Sammy was still fast asleep. It was after 2:30, so time for the afternoon meal. We sat down to eat, and Randy was waiting for Sammy to wake up. He checked him to make sure he was alright, as it's so unusual. FINALLY she started to stir. Sammy set a new record by sleeping about 3 hours!

The other two were about done eating, and I needed to get some things done before leaving, so I took Tammy and Emmy downstairs, while Randy took Sammy and his jar downstairs as well, to feed him there, which is a little more challenging. And then I saw how late it was already, so I went into overdrive. Two weeks ago it was Emmy who had come with me when I had to go get tested, today it was Tammy's turn. So once I was done, I went downstairs to get Tammy, so I could dress her and get her ready. As you can imagine, this time it was Emmy who was crying, when Tammy and I left, and he had to stay behind. Randy said that he had cried a long time. Next time it's his turn again!

Tammy and I left the house, and she walked all the way to the subway station, having fun. Actually, she ran much of the time, and looked at everything around her, pointing at things frequently. She was enjoying herself! She was excited to get to push the elevator button, on the outside and inside, and then looked around at things, until I picked her up and walked to where we'd get onto the train. We rode one stop, got off, and again she got to push the elevator button twice. Then we went to the bus stop, and had a window seat inside, riding a few stops. We got off, and she walked or ran, holding my hand, again pointing and looking at everything. Once we reached the pharmacy, I picked her up. They opened the window and did the test, and she was a little worried about the stick being put into my nose. Then we went inside the pharmacy to pick up my medication and they gave us a self-test for at home. Tammy took both boxes and held on to them for dear life, guarding them all the way home, and even at home she did not want to let go of them.

I wanted to put her back on the ground for her to walk, but she did not want to. And every time I tried on the way home, she threw a fit. She wanted to be carried all the way home - and this girl is heavy now with her 11+ kilos! It was quite a walk to the bus stop, and then from the bus stop to the subway. Every time I tried to put her down, she drew people's attention. She even threw a fit when I suggested she'd push the elevator buttons! Once on the platform, she finally let me set her down for a few minutes, and then we took the subway home, and she made me carry her all the way to our apartment from the subway. Even inside our building she would not walk.

Once home, she went downstairs to the boys, still holding on to the boxes. Emmy wanted a box too, so I gave him another box to play with. The weather was so warm and beautiful, the others needed to go outside as well. It was already 4:30 when we did, after putting pants and shoes on them. They went to the sandbox and started playing. First I was holding Sammy, and then Randy did. They had plenty of fun, but started throwing sand again, and I asked them not to. Randy helped Sammy have fun too, and buried his feet in the sand. Finally, we put all the toys back into their box, and needed to clean up. Emmy picked up the broom and started working hard, sweeping the sand. Then we closed up the sandbox again.

And they started riding on their tricycle, with me pushing them up and down the path. Once Emmy leaned over to his sister, when we passed her, and gave her a kiss. So cute!

At 5 we went back inside, and I went upstairs to get their food ready, while Randy stayed downstairs with them. Half an hour later they came upstairs to eat, and they all finished their food in the bathtub, where they had fun playing with their suction cup animals. Then Tammy started splashing real hard. I asked her to stop, but she wouldn't, so she had to come out of the bathtub. Randy put her into her bed, while I finished up with the other two. Once the other two were ready for bed and put to bed after their prayer, I got Tammy back out, prayed for her, and put her back to bed. Tonight I only had to come back for Sammy once.

I finally finished yesterday's report, made and ate my food, and went back to work. Now everything's done, but it's already half past midnight, so past my bedtime. Emmy has had his milk, and he's usually the only one drinking any any more.
