After a short night, it was Randy who woke me up at 8:15 pointing out how late it was. They often start talking or fussing early, but we don't usually get up before 8, so we just ignore them. So we got up, and I made their breakfast, and started feeding them. They were already eating their food and close to done, when Caritas helper Christine showed up for her very last time with us. Due to different circumstances we had not seen her much these past 3 weeks anyway. She took my place at the table, and I went back to bed. And I have to say the next few hours I slept great, and it was wonderful to be able to wake up when my body was ready for it. I'm sure gonna miss not being able to do this (ever any time soon) again.

Christine took Tammy and Emmy to the nearby playground, and cooked, and then fed them, while Randy was feeding Sammy. She then left after putting them to bed - two hours earlier as she was not feeling well. I was still asleep at that time.

I got up at 1:45 and was surprised not to see her. Emmy was already fussing, and he was waking up his siblings. I ate lunch, while listening to them. I was able to finish before they were getting antsy, and then I went to get them out of bed. Just as I was doing that, Grandma arrived for one of her rare visits. And that's when the fun started!

We all went downstairs and had a great time, as witnessed by the pictures and videos. Tammy went into the swing, and Grandma was pushing her. They were also playing with the balloons and balls. Emmy showed Grandma how he goes down the slide. And Tammy brought Grandma a book to read to her, which she likes doing. Sammy also enjoyed being held by Grandma.

One time Tammy and Emmy were on the couch, and Grandma was trying to get them to say "Granny". Unfortunately they never did. When she asked Emmy where Granny was, he did point at her - much to her delight.

Another time Grandma was holding both Sammy and Tammy, and Tammy gave her brother a kiss. She also once lay down next to Sammy on the floor, when Grandma mentioned his name.

They kept going to the door to the outside and pointing at it, and as it was a really nice and warm day, I finally gave in, got their summer shoes, and opened the door. They immediately ran outside. Randy had just left to run an errand.

And then we had fun outside. I pushed both Emmy and Tammy on the tricycle, and one time Tammy was helping me push her brother. I also had Sammy and was throwing him around to make him laugh. I also put him on a car, and we pushed him back and forth a little. Grandma took the picture of all of us.

Yesterday they had showed no interest in the sandbox, when I opened it, but today Tammy was suddenly interested, and ended up having the greatest time digging in the sand and throwing it (video uploaded). Emmy came by too and threw some sand, but he was soon rubbing his eyes and not so excited about it.

Grandma had to leave, and they waved back at her, as she waved good-bye. Then she blew them a kiss, and they did too. The picture is hilarious, as they are doing the same moves at the same time.

I was alone with the three of them. Randy was still not back. After a while we went back inside anyway, and I had to leave the stuff outside. They had a lot of sand on them, but there was nothing I could do about it. I did wash Tammy's and Emmy's hands, and tried to get some of it out of Emmy's hair.

We continued playing, even though it was already after 5 pm, but I had to wait for Randy to return before I could go to the kitchen and start getting their food ready. He returned at 5:15, and took my place. It was nearly 6 pm before I called them upstairs to eat, half an hour later than usual. However, their afternoon meal had only taken place at 4 pm, as we had forgotten to feed them at 2:30 with all the excitement of Grandma arriving.

They were eating silently, while I finished grating the apple and pear, and then sat down with them and fed them their soup. Then they went into the bathtub, finished their food, and Emmy once again pooped, like he's been doing nearly every single time in the bathtub recently. That cut their bathtub time short. They all came out, and I put them to bed. They were pretty active again at first, and I had to return to put Sammy back into his sleeping position, as well as the other two. Soon after the boys were asleep, but Tammy was still fussing. I tried to call Paul in Mali, but could not reach him. As I could still hear Tammy, I went to check on her and found her with only a diaper on. She had even taken her pj completely off. So I put it back on and put her back into bed. After that she soon fell asleep.

I made and ate my food, and went to work. I started with today's pictures a little late, and as I had a lot of them today, it took me a long time to do, and so it's already 3:30 now. But I did clean the kitchen and dining room, so that I can go to bed now.
