It looks like they have nearly adjusted to the time change, as they woke up at their regular time of 8 am. Or we got up at that time. Sammy was crying pretty hard, so I went straight into their room and picked him up, which I don't usually do. It had been 4 am before I made it to bed last night.

After feeding, cleaning and dressing them, I let them run around and had Sammy in bed with me, until he was the last one to picked up by Randy to be taken downstairs. I went back to sleep, until the alarm woke me at 11 am. I was tired, but I got up, put their food into the warmer, and our food into the oven, and lay back down. I woke back up, when Sonja rang the door bell just before 11:30. I let her in, and called everyone upstairs to come eat.

I decided to put the content of their baby jar onto a plate, so that they could feed themselves with their baby spoons. I was impressed that Tammy was able to get food onto her spoon and into her mouth. For Emmy it was a little harder, and Sonja helped him get food onto his spoon. Today he said "Essen" out of the blue - several times - which means "food" or "eating". After banana, watermelon and yoghurt, I cleaned them up, and Emmy went to bed first, while Sonja went downstairs with Tammy. Randy finished feeding Sammy, and I cleaned him up, and then he went to bed. I was eating my food and looking to see whether Emmy was asleep a few times. It was funny; he was lying on his belly, and his legs were going up and down into the air for a while. Once it got quiet, I went to get Tammy and put her to bed. It took her a little while, but then she was asleep as well. After I was done eating, I cleaned everything up, and then lay back down to rest. And I fell asleep again. I heard Emmy crying for a while, and then Sammy, but Randy wasn't reacting, so I had to get up and get them and took them downstairs to Sonja, and then lay back down. Tammy continued sleeping for a while. Once she was up, we fed them their afternoon meal, and then I got some clothes and we dressed them, so that they could go just outside our apartment downstairs, as it was a warm and sunny day. They didn't even need a jacket at all!

Randy left for the grocery store, and the rest of us went outside. I put Sammy into his chair and rolled him outside. I also got some vehicles and took the slide outside. I opened up the huge sandbox, but they weren't interested in it. I guess not without the bucket and stuff. Emmy went down the slide a few times, but the fence was much more interesting to them, and they had lots of fun with it. Sonja was pushing and running with Sammy in his chair, running a race against Tammy. At the end of the long stretch, there is a small staircase leading to the entrance of our building and then the street. Tammy started going up right away, and then her brother joined her. But it's not safe that close to the street, so I asked them to come back down and stay downstairs.

They then went to the sandbox and ran around and played there. Emmy's cheeks were turning pretty red; maybe from the sun. We had been out there for quite some time, so it was time to go back inside. Once inside, they found the blow-up ball, and Sonja blew it up for them. Only for Tammy and Emmy to fight over it. So I blew up a balloon, and then another one, and so everyone had a "ball" to play with. Sammy likes his balls too!

Randy returned from the store, and a few minutes later I went upstairs to get their dinner ready, just before 5 pm. I finished everything except for grating the apple and pear, before calling them to come upstairs. They sat down to eat, and Sonja fed them their soup, while they ate the finger food themselves, and while I was still busy getting things ready. By the time I sat down with them, they were nearly done. Then we put them into the water, where they finished their food. Emmy decided to poop into the water again (always ever him), and so bathtub time was cut short, and they all came out. Then I put them to bed in their regular order with a prayer.

Sonja left, and I got my food ready, and sat down to eat and relax. Once done, I started working. Last night I had waited until too late to clean the dining room and kitchen, so tonight I did it earlier. That way I can go back to office work knowing I've done everything.

I'd really like to make some changes in terms of going to bed earlier and eating healthy again, like I was doing for many months last year. Please pray to that end.
