HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
This is one of the very rare days where I don't have any pictures. And it's already 2:30 am. What's there to say about today?
The Mobile Physiotherapy Lady came this morning to play with them for 90 minutes. Then somebody came to check on our ventilation system, sent by the house management, going door to door to every apartment. They were gone by the time I got up at 11:15 to warm up their food, a lentil soup I made last week, freezing the leftovers. I mixed a baby jar of potatoes into it to make it all stick together. The kids ate it all, and then I brought out the watermelon, banana and yoghurt. The past few days Emmy has not been eating banana any more. Maybe he's finally had enough.
Bedtime wasn't too bad today. Emmy was really tired and fell asleep fast. By the time Tammy was ready, he was already asleep, and I could put her to bed right away. She was also very tired and fell asleep fast. By the time Sammy came, they were both already sleeping, which has not ever happened before, I believe.
Emmy woke up first, as usual, and Randy sat down with him, but he did not go to sleep. Tammy woke up in the process, which is also unusual, while Sammy continued sleeping at first, but woke up shortly after. It was still early, only 1:30, so we all went downstairs to play for an hour.
At 2:30 we went upstairs for the afternoon meal, and then they went back downstairs. At 3:30 I left to get a Covid test as I'm taking Sammy to the hospital for his physiotherapy tomorrow. An hour later I was back home, and still had half an hour with the little ones before I had to go make their food. Randy continued with the shelves during that half hour. I had fun with them.
They came upstairs to eat a little later than 5:30, and were throwing food again, not listening to my "no". Then into the bathtub, and then to bed. Once again it was Emmy who needed me to stay by his side, so he could fall asleep, so I did. Tammy was still pretty active at that point. I tried to walk away too early, and he started crying again. When I walked away for good, I was hoping he was really asleep that time. The girl was still awake, but I was still able to leave, and she fell asleep shortly thereafter.
Cooking, eating, cleaning, office work, and I don't know where the time has gone, as there is so much I have to do.
And that was my quick overview of the day.
