Today it was later again, 8:30, when we got up, and this time it was Tammy who was still sleeping at first. After breakfast, they went downstairs with Randy, and I went back to bed. We usually eat at 11:30, but I fell back asleep after the alarm rang, instead of getting up, so it was noon today. It was baby food jar day, and I added some of the leftover chicken from yesterday.

After fruit and yoghurt for dessert, I put Emmy to bed, then Sammy went to bed, and I sat down on our bed to read the Bible with Tammy, while waiting for Emmy to fall asleep. We read the WHOLE children's Bible. Tammy was very interested and attentive. When we were done, Emmy was still fussing, so Tammy went downstairs with Randy.

I started cleaning up, and cooking, and from there it wasn't that long until Emmy fell asleep and I could get Tammy and put her to bed. She was up for a while, as always, before she fell asleep. This afternoon I never got to sleep. Somehow time was passing quickly. When Emmy woke up crying, Randy sat down with him, but he was done sleeping, so he took him downstairs. Sammy was awake too, so I took him downstairs as well, and went back upstairs to wait for Tammy to wake up. She slept long. When I picked her up after 3 pm, I found out that Randy had already fed the boys, so Tammy and I stayed upstairs, and she had her jar and watermelon while sitting on my lap.

Then we went downstairs to play, and Randy went upstairs to continue putting the new shelves together. I put their new table and chairs back into their area, and got some paper and the baby crayons out. They are slowly getting more interested in drawing, but always used the round side to draw with, rather than the pointed end. And Sammy preferred eating it. He was standing by the table, with me holding him, as he cannot sit on a chair, though I did put him on it to see how he was doing.

After we were done, Tammy and Emmy decided it would be fun to climb on the furniture, and then to rearrange it and turn it over. It was fun to watch, and I uploaded a short video of it.

Tammy likes putting the plastic rings on her arms, and today I showed her she could put it on her leg, and both Tammy and Emmy ended up doing the same.

And they enjoyed the new activity house they had just received from our neighbors, and all together they worked on putting the differently shaped blocks through the correct holes into it. Emmy is the best at that. Tammy doesn't have enough patience to keep trying.

We also watched a few little clips for kids their age, which they enjoyed.

Before I knew it, it was 5 pm, but Randy needed another 15 minutes before he could stop his work. So it was 5:45 by the time they came upstairs to eat. The food was all ready, so I sat down with them right away. But tonight they ate very little for some reason. I'm not sure they've ever eaten this little. Not so Sammy who nearly ate it all.

From the bathtub they went to bed. And tonight bedtime was pretty tough. Emmy needed me to sit by his bed and stroke his head. Once he was asleep, I walked away, but then Tammy needed me, so I returned a few times, and it took a while. Then Emmy woke back up, and I returned. It took a while before they were finally sleeping for good and I could make and eat my food.

Randy continued working on the shelves, and at one point Emmy woke up again. I thought he wanted his nightly milk, but he just wanted me to hold him. I did for a while little, but then he was clinging to me and crying when I tried to put him back to bed. At one point I just put him to bed anyway, and after some crying, he went back to sleep.

Tonight I've done all the cleaning, and done quite a bit of office work, and now it's nearly 3 am, so bedtime is approaching quickly. Another week is starting in the morning.
