Surprise, surprise, both Tammy and Emmy had their pj's on this morning, so no team work, opening the buttons on the back of the other. Emmy cried for a whole hour, from 7 to 8 am, which is when we get up. His siblings just play and wait for us.

Today was just another day alone at home for the Wilson Five. What was out of the ordinary? After a few tough days regarding their nap time, Emmy was so tired at lunch time today, it was even hard to get him to eat. He was just cranky and crying and ended up eating little, and when I put him to bed, he fell asleep right away.

Then I cleaned up Tammy, and we sat down on our bed and read Bible stories, which she enjoys. It was really quiet in their bedroom nextdoor, and I soon realized Emmy was asleep, and so I put her to bed. She was up for quite a while, but fell asleep earlier than she has been as well.

After I had finished all the housework and had eaten, I was getting pretty tired as well. I probably should have laid down earlier, but I did get to sleep a little - too short, though, when Tammy woke up and woke me up. Randy had already been downstairs with the boys who woke up first, and when they came up at 3 pm for the afternoon meal, the noise woke her up. So I got up myself and fed Tammy and Emmy, while Randy fed Sammy.

Just before we went back downstairs, IKEA's delivery of the last missing furniture arrived (it should have come on Tuesday already). The little ones were curious and all standing by the door. The guys said they were not allowed to step into our appartment. I took them downstairs, while Randy moved it all from the door inside.

It was already 4 pm, so we had one hour of fun. Our neighbor had dropped off some more toys they don't need any more, so they were busy checking those out.

Tammy got a hold of my dress, and I guess she was practicing for the mission field in the Muslim world. She even went up the slide and slid down that way! We also read some books, and had some physcial fun. Sammy got to sit on the rocking horse, and so did his siblings. Emmy looked really cute when he sat on the couch.

Time flew by. Randy had been putting together their new table and chairs that had just arrived, and came downstairs just after 5 so I could go get their food done. Now they'll be able to sit down while drawing. The table won't stay white for long!

We ate a little later than usual, and I sat with them from the beginning, getting it all done before. They ate the rest in the bathtub, and no pooping in the water today. They all came out at once, and then went to bed. And to my greatest amazement, I never had to go back to them even once tonight! The boys were quiet right away, and the girl was just fussing for a while and then also got quiet. I was able to get my food ready and go eat.

After working for a while, I set up their new table and chairs, then starting writing this. Randy has started putting the furniture together, and now I'm gonna go clean up and then continue with office work.

By the way, Tammy and Emmy are saying the word "heiß" (hot) now all the time. I guess they like that word. Yesterday morning they both kept saying it even before we got them out of bed. Emmy also says "kalt" (cold) back to me, when I say it.
