After a regular night in terms of their milk and me going to bed just before 4, we had to get up earlier, at 7:30 am. Only one of them was already awake and talking. When Christine arrived at 8:30, Randy and Sammy were ready to leave for his physiotherapy, and Tammy and Emmy had finished eating, were washed and dressed and running around having fun. Though it was the second morning where Tammy had thrown a fit, when I put her in the chair to eat.

We all went downstairs and I made some necessary phone calls for Sammy that I needed to do in the morning. I have to find another place for him to go to physiotherapy to, but it looks like they are all full. One place told me there are lots of kids waiting for a spot. Please pray we find one for him.

I left Tammy and Emmy in the swing and with Christine and went to bed. I had already been up for a long time, and it takes me a while to fall back asleep. As the little ones had eaten cooked food for two days, today was baby food jar day, so we use it all up. That way Christine could play with them, and she also took them outside for a little bit, even though it was all wet. By the way, she accidentally switched out their hats, just in case you wonder, looking at the pictures. They had never experienced rain puddles before and had the greatest time jumping around in them, as you can see in the videos.

I didn't think Emmy would last until lunch at 11:30, especially with the early morning, but he did. Christine also sang and danced with them, and vaccuumed. Emmy was terrified of the vaccuum cleaner, but Christine tried to show him there was nothing to be afraid of.

Randy arrived at 11:30, just as it was time to eat. Then all three went to bed, and actually slept at the same time, which is so rare. And they slept really long, which is very rare. Tammy two and a half hours, the longest. Emmy woke up first after 2 hours, at 2 pm, Sammy a few minutes later, and Tammy at 2:30. Perfect timing, as that is when they eat their afternoon meal.

Tammy is really attached to me, when she wakes up, and rather cranky. It was impossible to put her into her chair. Not just that, she was only okay, when I'd stand with her on my arm; I wasn't even allowed to sit down. And even standing she was upset at times. It was hard to feed her, and I also had Emmy to feed, who was sitting in his chair.

Grandma had announced she was coming at 3 pm - one of her rare visits - but she was stuck in traffic, so we finally went downstairs, where they both wanted to go into the swing right away. At 3:30 Grandma finally came, and all three of them had lots of fun with her for 90 minutes, before she had to leave again. I've uploaded a video.

At 5 pm she said her good-byes, and we went upstairs together, as I had to get their food ready. Emmy was very cranky, probably tired. And that's why Randy came upstairs with them before I was ready. So I put pieces of bread into Emmy's and Tammy's mouths, whenever they came up to me, while cutting up the fruit. Then they went into their chairs, and did not eat much at all, before starting to throw food around, so I took their plates away. They were both throwing fits; there was just no more feeding at that point. I took them to the bathtub, which was probably the worst bathtub time ever. Both Tammy and Emmy were crying hard much of the time, which then upset Sammy. It was bad! Needless to say, they did not finish their food or drink. We had to get all three of them out at the same time, and then the order they go to bed in was turned around as well, with Tammy going first and Sammy last, as I have to put the braces on his legs, which takes a little time.

I thought Emmy would go to sleep right away, but it was not the case. Sammy was crying again, and so I got him out and held him a little bit. While I sat there with him, I watched Emmy get up and talk to his sister, who then also got up. So much for being so tired! I then put Sammy back to bed, who was okay after that, and walked away, and Tammy let me. It did not take long then for them to fall asleep.

I was glad, as time was short to make and eat my food, as we had a board meeting from 8 to 9 pm. It was nice to see friends at least that way, as we have not been able to travel at all. I sure hope we make it to the US soon, and also back to Mali. And we might drive to Upper Austria for two nights in two weeks; we'll see.

I started office work after the meeting, and then did the cleanup from midnight to 1 am. And now I still have some time left for more office work, though it's another busy day tomorrow.
