HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Last night it was after 4 am when I went to bed. This morning we got up at 8 am as usual, as the babies' body clock works really well. We fed them, cleaned and dressed them, and I cleaned everything up. Before I could go to bed, Grandma already arrived to spend some time with the littles ones. They all went downstairs, while I went back to bed.
Grandma stayed until 11 am and had a great time with them. I'm glad they get more time with her, and I hope she'll be coming more often.
At 11:30 Sonja arrived, our wonderful helper. Sammy was still sleeping, but I got up and warmed up the food anyway. We all had leftovers; there was just enough for everybody. When they all came upstairs to eat, Sammy woke up as well, and so we all ate at the same time. I then put Emmy to bed, and then Tammy. Sonja went downstairs with Sammy, while I did the cleanup. Randy stayed upstairs as well to get a break. After I was done with all the work, I went back to bed, and fell asleep again. I've been able to get this additional nap a few times now, and I've really noticed the difference it makes. It means that I'm not so very tired at night and am much more effective in doing office work until 4 am.
Emmy already woke up at 12:45 today, which was way too short. I lay down with him, but he would not sleep on me, so I took him downstairs to Sonja. It was Tammy who woke me up, when she woke up, and I got up and got her. It was nearly 2:30, so time for their afternoon meal, and so everyone came upstairs. I fed Tammy who ate her jar fast, and then I brought out the melon for her, and banana for Emmy, as well as a cereal bar.
Then I put Emmy to bed, because he had slept so little after lunch, and he did not appreciate it. He was crying, which he usually doesn't do. I finally got him back out and took him downstairs to Sonja. But he was tired, and so Randy put him to bed one more time. He cried for a while, but did fall asleep at 3:30, to sleep only half an hour. Sammy fell asleep before him. All that time Sonja was downstairs with Tammy, while I was doing the cleanup, and then joined them. Randy stayed upstairs to take a break.
At 4 pm I went to get the boys and took them downstairs as well. And we had lots of fun together. Emmy was not appreciative of having been woken up, and was still resting on my chest for a little while. Tammy loves helping and is very compassionate. However, this afternoon she would first go and take the pacifier out of Emmy's and Sammy's mouth and put it on the shelf, only to come back a minute later to put it back into their mouths and hear "thank you" from me. She did that several times, and did not appreciate it, when I tried to keep her from taking the pacifier away. Emmy did not like his pacifier being taken away, still being sleepy and needing it. Tammy also went to get the water bottle and put it both into Sammy's and Emmy's mouth, and then took it away and put it back onto the shelf. I like that she's so organized, just like her Mommy. 🙂
Sammy likes being on top of the big ball, rolling a little, which is a good exercise for him. The little ones wanted the jungle down that they would lie in as babies, and had fun lying in there again, all three of them. I captured Tammy giving Sammy a kiss, which she often does. Emmy wanted to go into the swing. He really likes being in there, when he's tired, and is very relaxed sitting in there and swinging. I happened to take his picture just as he was yawning real big. Often Tammy wants into the swing whenever anyone else is in it, and she joined him for a little while, which he didn't like so much. After a little while they wanted out, and after she wanted out, Emmy went back in, and this time she left him alone in there.
I took today's pictures with my good camera that I had sitting next to me on the floor. I don't always turn it off, so it's ready for when I quickly need to take a shot. One time Emmy came over and pushed the button and took a picture. After the selfie he took recently on my phone, this is the very first picture he's taken.
At 5 pm Randy came down and I went upstairs to get their food ready. They were all pretty cranky, as you can see in the video I uploaded, but once I was upstairs I could hear them play happily. I was nearly done, when I heard more crying and called them to come upstairs. Sonja started feeding them without me, while I finished grating the apple and pear, and getting the bathroom ready. Once they were done eating at the table, we took the rest of the food to the bathroom and put them into the bathtub, where they finished their food, including Sammy. Sammy was moving so much tonight, which is hard, when I'm kneeling next to the bathtub and trying to keep him from going under, while putting food into his mouth. By the time he's done and I get up with him, I can barely move. I'm getting old!
I dressed him and put his night braces on and put him to bed. Then it was Emmy's and then Tammy's turn. Tonight I did have to sit down for a short while by Tammy's bed to help her fall asleep, but walked away before she was asleep, and she was okay with that.
Tonight I first sat down at the computer to work, and only went to the kitchen to get my food later, when I was getting hungry. I often watch something entertaining while eating, but not tonight. I've been more effective the last few nights, and want to continue catching up on office work. Now it's 1 am after all, but that means I have another 3 hours to get things done. Or maybe I should go to bed earlier as I won't get to sleep tomorrow morning as I have been.
