HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I went to bed at 3:30, and we got up at 8 am as always. After feeding them breakfast, cleaning and dressing them, I waited for the Mobile Support lady to arrive at 9 am, so I could ask her whether she knows how to lower Sammy's chair again. I was able to do it at first, but now I've not been able to move it. She couldn't either, so the company is sending someone.
She took Sammy downstairs, where everybody else was, and I went back to bed. All she does is play with them - all three of them, even though she's here for Sammy.
I got woken up a few times in the course of the morning. Randy put Sammy to bed at 10:30, and turned the warmer with their food on. I had set my alarm for 11:25 to get up and feed them, but hit the snooze button. Sammy was still sleeping anyway. It was Randy who woke me up a little later, and we all sat down to feed them.
After lunch I put Emmy to bed first, and by the time the girl was cleaned up and dressed and going to bed, he looked like he was nearly asleep. That's the only way it works. Randy went downstairs with Sammy, after he was done, and I decided to go back to bed instead of eating, since Randy was taken care of.
I woke up when Emmy woke up and cried at 1:45, and quickly got up to get him. However, the girl woke up in the process. So I took them both downstairs, and also got their afternoon jars, as they had not eaten that much for lunch. Sammy was getting sleepy, so I put him to bed at 2 pm, which is when he's been sleeping recently.
Then we started feeding Emmy and Tammy downstairs. I also had some snacks and a cereal bar, beside the cereal with fruit. I'm not ordering any more of that kind of jars, as they don't care for them any more.
Sammy was not sleeping but crying, and so Randy left to feed him and put him to bed after. He said that he had been hungry, and he slept just fine after the meal. Tammy and Emmy had fun playing downstairs, and I enjoyed playing with them. Just before 4 pm Sammy woke up, and I went to get him as well. And then the three of us had fun until 5 pm. Tammy and Emmy are now interested in the race track their uncle gave them when they turned one year old last August, and so the cars kept flying down. Randy got a beach straw mat out, and Tammy wrapped herself in it, which was funny. Emmy wanted to swing, and sat in there for a while enjoying it. He looked a little sleepy, and even yawned.
Tammy has recently also started drinking water (with a little juice) during the day, while It's only been Emmy so far. At one point they ran out, and so I went to refill their bottles. I returned with two bottles and gave one to each one of them. Tammy went over to where Sammy was on the floor and put the bottle into his mouth. And then I heard Sammy drink; for some reason it's audible, when he does. It was so sweet! And then Emmy followed his sister's example and also put his bottle into Sammy's mouth, and Sammy drank again. What sweet siblings Sammy has - most of the time, as they also bite and hit him at times.
Tammy and Emmy sometimes fight over toys. They have so much stuff, and then they want the same thing at the same time. Emmy went up and down the slide again quite a lot, while Tammy really does. And I was throwing Emmy around a little (not as much as usual), and Sammy who loves it. Also Tammy, who is not as crazy about it as her brothers. But they all love it when I chase them around. They just love and giggle and try to run away with me. And sometimes they let themselves get caught and love it. It's so much fun!
At 5 I went upstairs to get their food ready, and a few minutes later they came upstairs, once I had some bread with cream cheese ready for them to eat. They'd come up to me to get some, and then go on their way. Once I'm nearly done cutting up all the fruit, Randy puts them into their chairs. They started eating by themselves, while I was finishing up with the grated apple and pear, and then joined them. They also get soup in a baby jar that they love.
Once they start playing and throwing food, we're done in the dining room. I get their tooth brushes ready, and first get Emmy and put him into the bathtub, and then Tammy. Then I start feeding them the rest of their fruit, and when Sammy comes, I hold him safely in the water and feed him the rest of his fruit. Once it's all gone, it's time for the leftover cereal with milk from the morning that they love drinking. The bathtub is the perfect place for it, as they can spill as much as they like.
Sammy then comes out first. Today Emmy came out right away as well, as Randy had to leave to go to the grocery store before it closes. I was left alone with them, and had to let Tammy and Emmy run around in their diapers, while I finished putting Sammy's pj's and his braces on and put him to bed. Normally Emmy is next, but tonight I got Tammy ready first and put her to bed, and then grabbed Emmy, who was enjoying life and running around, and put him to bed. Everyone was tired. The boys went to sleep without any problem, while Tammy complained for a while, but I never had to go back to her. What progress as I think back to how hard it used to be!
When Randy returned just after 7 pm, Tammy had just stopped whining, and I was getting my food ready. It's nice to be able to do that earlier than I used to. And so it's not even midnight as I finish today's report. Now I'm gonna go do dishes and clean up the kitchen and dining room.
