After 4 hours of sleep, I got up at 8 am to make their breakfast and feed them, then clean up and go back to bed. I couldn't fall asleep for a while, as Sammy was crying and crying downstairs with Randy. My alarm woke me again at 11 am to make lunch. I first checked to see whether both boys or just Sammy were sleeping. It was just Sammy, so I went to work in the kitchen. I peeled, cut and fried some sweet potatoes for the five of us, and put some fish in the oven for the two of us. The kids got a baby food jar with fish. I'm still working on using up all the jars, and I feed them fish once a week.

We were able to feed them at 11:30. When Randy came up with Tammy and Emmy, Sammy woke up as well, and we all sat down to eat. They loved the sweet potatoes, and my two also finished their fish. Then I got out some fruit and yoghurt as dessert. I cleaned Emmy up first and put him to bed. Then I cleaned up the girl, and by the time I put her to bed, Emmy was already sleeping, and she fell asleep quickly as well. Randy took Sammy downstairs, and I started cleaning everything up. After I was done, I went downstairs as well. As Sammy was playing happily by himself, I sat down at the computer to work, and was actually able to work for over an hour.

As 2 pm was approaching, Emmy started stirring. When I finally went upstairs, I found both Emmy and Tammy standing in their beds, talking to each other. I took them both downstairs, and we started playing. Emmy loves the slide and goes up and down all the time. For some reason Tammy doesn't care about the slide. She went into the swing and had it for herself for a while. Sammy also got to swing for a while and loved it. I also did quite a bit of "throwing" him around today, which made him laugh all the time. I could see him do ALL the rides at an amusement park!

Sammy loves standing, though we need to hold him for him to be able to stand. Today Randy had him stand by the swing, and he also got to stand with me quite a bit.

Emmy was pretty cranky again, as he often is between nap and dinner, but I threw him around quite a bit as well to make him laugh. At 5 pm I left them to make dinner. They came up as soon as I had some bread with cream cheese ready that they could come get from me, while I was still cutting up their fruit. Then we sat down to eat, and as soon as they start throwing fruit, we stop and they go into the bathtub, where they always finish their fruit. The leftover cereal with milk is their dessert. Some days they like it more than others.

Then Sammy comes out first, and goes to bed first, followed by Emmy, and then Tammy. Tonight they did pretty well. The boys fell asleep right away, and Tammy needed some time. I came back to comfort her once, but did not stay long, and she was fine after that.

I then decided to take a bath, which I rarely get to do anymore, even though it relaxes me more than anything else. I can even dim the ceiling light, so it's not so bright, and change it to yellow or any other color. I got pretty tired lying in the water - and suddenly Randy was there, waking me up. I had actually fallen asleep. I then came out, made my dinner, ate, and went to work. I just finished the January picture book with all my daily updates and pictures for us, and for the little ones. It's time intensive, and I'm a month and a half behind. Ever since the move I've been behind and not been able to catch up. I'd like to do some office work now, but I'm so tired that I'm thinking of going to bed. It's going on 2 am, so it's early for me. But tomorrow is another day without help, and I'm cooking lunch again.
