Today it was just the five of us all day long. We got up at our regular time of 8 am, fed them, then they went downstairs with Randy, while I went back to bed. Recently Tammy has started to take her sleeping bag off, and then I'd find her with an arm or leg out out of the pajama. Today she had taken her whole pj off as well! Will I find her naked tomorrow morning?

As Emmy is going from two to one nap a day, we feed them at 11:30 instead of noon, so he lasts long enough. So I set my alarm accordingly. However, today Randy put both Sammy and Emmy down for a nap at 10:30, as Emmy was so tired. As it was baby jar food day, and Randy had turned the warmer on at that time, I got up just before 11:30 to feed them. And then I waited for them to wake up, but as I heard Tammy downstairs being hungry and tired, I called to Randy to bring her up. I fed her in my arm, and she ate the whole jar really quickly. By the time she was done, her brothers were out. I put Tammy to bed, before even starting to feed Emmy. He was also so hungry he ate it all quickly.

Randy and I both grabbed something to eat and went downstairs with the boys. Of course Emmy wanted to go into the swing. Then I put Sammy in there as well, behind him. Sammy had so much fun, laughing while swinging. However, Emmy was aggravated by his brother grabbing his clothes and ears and whatever he could grab. That's just what Sammy does. So I switched them around, and then it worked perfectly, with Sammy sitting in the front. Later in the day I once tried to add Tammy in the back, but it pushed Sammy too much into the bar in the front.

They spent a lot of time in the swing, as they love it so much. They're usually upset, when you take them out. When Tammy had the swing all to herself, while the boys had their afternoon nap, she had her beloved rabbit with her.

Tammy actually ended up sleeping for over two hours. When she woke up, it was pretty much time to feed them their afternoon meal. Sammy was already cranky because he was tired, and Randy had a hard time getting any food into him. In fact, he says it's been hard to get food into him the past few days. I fed his leftover half jar and a full jar to Tammy and Emmy. Having just woken up, I had to hold Tammy in my arm while feeding her. Emmy was running around. Then the boys went to bed, and we went downstairs with Tammy, who spent the biggest part of her hour alone with Mommy in the swing.

At 4 pm we went upstairs to wake the boys up and took them downstairs. They went into the swing again, to Tammy's dismay, even though she had just spent all that time in there. Randy then got the tricycle out, which she accepted as an alternative for a while.

At 5 pm I left them to get the food ready, but it did not take long for Randy to come upstairs with them. They don't want to come out of the swing and cry, when you take them out. I already had some peaces of bread with cream cheese ready, and they were hungry. Both Emmy and Tammy would come up to me to get a piece of bread, and I have to say that they ate better than they do in their chairs. All the bread was gone before they sat down to eat, which we did once I was done cutting all the fruit. Emmy was throwing food again, so I took his plate away, and Tammy then did the same. So it wasn't long before we went into the bathtub, where they ate the rest of their fruit - all of it. So did Sammy.

And we had a little scare, when Emmy slipped and tried not to go under but could not get a hold of anything. I had Tammy to my left jamming my arm, and was holding Sammy, so I could only use my leg to try to give him something to hold on to, and to try to hold him up. I was calling Randy's name loudly to come help, and I guess my loud voice scared them more than anything. All three ended up crying, and I had to hold all three of them tight to calm them down. It didn't take long before everyone was fine again, playing like before.

Sammy always comes out of the water first. When I got up to get out, both Emmy and Tammy wanted out as well, so I got Emmy out, and then Randy took Tammy out. So suddenly we had all three on the changing table - for the second time ever (the first being recently). There was just enough space for them. So I thought I'd take a picture the way I used to when they were little, with the three lying next to each other. In this case, brushing their teeth. Sammy was already ready to go to bed at this point.

At first everyone was quiet after having been put to bed, which surprised me. I went straight to cleaning up, as I wanted to get it done before the food delivery for our "date night" or "date hour or two". Sammy started crying again, and Randy gave him dental cream. When the door bell rang, they started crying again, and when I went to their beds, Tammy had taken her sleeping bag off, and her arm and leg out of the pajama. I had to dress her again and put her back into the bag and back into bed. After that it didn't take long for them to be quiet and fall asleep.

And we went downstairs with our food, set up the computer and watched a nice comedy while eating our food together. We started doing this on a weekly basis a few weeks ago, with Valentine's Day, Randy's birthday, and our anniversary, but I kind of like for it to go on weekly. It was short enough, but nice, and then we both went back to our routines. The work never stops. And I have more of it to do tonight.
