HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I'm going to bed at 4 am again every night, which I'd rather not, and they wake us up at 8 am every morning. It was a morning like any other today. Randy took them downstairs after breakfast, and I went back to bed. I had my alarm set for 11 am, and I did get up right away as time was short. I started cooking the adults' meal, while the babies had jars to eat today that were being warmed up. Sonja already arrived at 11:15, which was a blessing. She went downstairs to stay with Emmy and Tammy, while Randy started feeding Sammy. At 11:30 the others came upstairs as well to eat, and a few minutes later the adults' food was ready too.
Randy and Sammy left for his physiotherapy session at noon. Sammy had taken a nap at 10:30, so he'd be fit for it, while Emmy had stayed up with his sister. But now they were both really tired. I put Emmy to bed, who was quiet and on his way to falling asleep. Then I put Tammy to bed. That was a big mistake. I should have waited until Emmy was asleep. They started talking and having fun, and no one was sleeping. So I finally got them back out of bed and took them downstairs.
So Sonja and I had fun with them. First they went round and round on the old office chair, which they enjoy doing, and then we went on to other fun stuff. At 1:45 I finally put Tammy to bed, as she was really tired, and she fell asleep and slept just over two hours. Emmy still stayed with us, and we fed him at 2:30, though he didn't really want to eat at that time. Christine had made pancakes yesterday, and I added some apple and banana sauce. Later he did eat it, so he did like it after all.
Randy and Sammy returned just before 3 pm, and Sammy got some pancakes as well, but he had snacked on the road. We then put them both to bed around 3 pm, and I was surprises that Tammy didn't wake up. Yesterday she had never slept during the day, so I guess she had some catching up to do. The boys fell asleep right away. Just before 4 pm the boys woke up first, and the girl still continued sleeping, while I carried them downstairs. Randy got her a few minutes later, and then we were all downstairs.
There were some cute moments of interaction between them. Tammy is very caring, always helping her brothers, and showing affection. Sammy enjoys it, when his siblings come to hug and kiss him, and even when they get a little rough, he doesn't mind.
I left them before 5 pm, and they ate a little after 5:30 pm. Then they went into the bathtub, where they finished their food, and then to bed.
Emmy fell asleep right away, only having had one nap during the day. Tammy had a harder time, and I had to come back a few times, before she finally fell asleep. Sammy was crying hard again, and I picked him up to hold him for a while twice, before he was finally content and falling asleep. I don't know if it's the leg braces or his teeth that is causing this. He was always the one simply falling asleep.
