HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today we again woke up later, actually when the doorbell rang at 8:30 and Sonja arrived to help. We fed them, and Sonja went downstairs with them, while Randy got his breakfast ready. I went back to bed until my alarm woke me at 11:30, but first I put a chicken into the oven. Once I got up, I made rice with vegetables for all of us, took the boys downstairs when they woke up, and at noon the six of us sat down to eat. A chicken was just enough for all of us, and everyone enjoyed eating it.
Tammy then went to bed, and Sonja went downstairs with the boys, while I was cleaning up. Actually we both ended up getting things ready for the Grandparents' arrival at 2 pm. At 1:30 pm I put Sammy to bed, who was tired, while Emmy stayed up.
When Grandma and Grandpa arrived, Sonja left us, and they went downstairs with Emmy. However, the noise of talking had waken up Tammy unfortunately, and so she came downstairs as well. They had brought a birthday cake with them, and so I put some candles on it, and we sang for Randy, who was holding Tammy and Emmy. Then we cut the cake and sat down to eat it. The kids ate their afternoon jars, and then Emmy went to bed for his nap. So Tammy was the only one awake for a while, and she got to read a new book Grandma had brought for them. Then Sammy woke up and joined us, and Randy fed him. Finally Emmy woke up and returned to join us. Everyone had great fun, and Emmy showed some of his dance moves, though not all of them, and certainly not his best. Time just flew by, and before we knew it, Grandma and Grandpa had to leave. It was the first time in many months they had come to see them.
Then we continued playing without them, and still had fun. Sammy was doing lots of crawling all over the place. Just before 5 pm I left them with Daddy to go get dinner ready. I could hear that they were getting cranky, and so they came upstairs before I was all the way done. I put Emmy and Tammy into their chairs, and thankfully they're pretty good at feeding themselves. That way I was able to leave them to themselves and finish grating the apple for them to eat. They ate pretty well, until they stopped, and we took the remaining food with us to the bathtub. Sammy also finished his food there. Then it was bedtime. Sammy didn't whine for long, but fell asleep fast. I walked away at first, but the girl started crying more and more, while I was getting my food ready, until I knew I had to go sit by her bed, and as she was pretty tired, it didn't take long before I was able to walk away.
Then I got to eat, do housework and office work, as always.
