Sometimes I'm in such a flow doing office work, I just keep going. That's why it was 4 am, when I went to bed last night. Three hours later the babies were already up, and Emmy crying, which was an hour earlier than usual. It seemed counterproductive to give them milk an hour before breakfast, so we just stayed put, hoping he'd stop crying. After a while we got up, maybe 10 minutes before our usual time. As Emmy was crying, I got him out of bed and let him run around, the same with Tammy, and then they were happy, and Randy could change them as soon as he was ready to. I got their food ready, and we fed them. Then I cleaned and dressed them, and Randy took them downstairs with his breakfast, while I went back to bed. Even though they woke up an hour earlier than usual, the boys went to bed for their nap at their usual 10:30 time. 45 minutes later Emmy already woke up, and I went to get him, but both boys were up. I took them downstairs, and while I was there, Sonja then arrived. I took Emmy with me, as he was pretty cranky.

A few minutes later we sat down to feed them; fish baby food jars, still working on using up all the jars we have. Emmy and Tammy ate it all, but Sammy wasn't so keen on it. They also had some banana and watermelon as dessert. Emmy now suddenly eats watermelon!

Tammy was already VERY tired and went to bed, and fell asleep right away. Sonja took Emmy downstairs, and I took Sammy after having cleaned up. Then Randy started making omelets for the adults, like he does once a week. I took Sammy downstairs, and he does really well with Sonja, though initially he's usually not so happy.

I then ate my omelet upstairs, and was so tired that I would have loved to take a nap, but it wasn't meant to be. I went downstairs to the boys. Sammy was getting pretty tired, and I decided to put them to bed early, considering their early morning. Sammy fell asleep right away, but Emmy stayed awake talking. So I got him back out before he could wake up his sister and took him downstairs, where we played some more, before I fed him his afternoon meal. Then his sister woke up, and Sammy as well, so we got them out of bed and took them downstairs to feed, while Emmy went to bed and this time he slept.

So it was Sonja and me with Sammy and Tammy. They ate their cereal with fruit jars, and I brought some snacks downstairs as well. Sammy loves the pureed fruit drinks, and even though he made a face eating the dinkle with herbs balls, he still ate them. The girl seemed to like them. After a while, they were both playing so well with Sonja, that I left them. Again, I was hoping for a nap, but there's always hosuework to do. I stayed upstairs, and when Emmy woke up, he went downstairs to join his siblings.

Just before 5 pm I started making their food, and at 5:30 we started feeding them. Then they went into the bathtub, where all three finished the rest of their food, and then they went to bed. I was hoping I could walk away right away for the third day in a row, but it wasn't meant to be. While I was getting my food ready, Tammy started crying harder and harder. When I went to her bedside, she was standing there crying, waiting for me. I sat down and had to stay for a while, before she let me walk away without crying any more. I ate, cleaned up the kitchen and dining room, and started office work. I was sure hoping to go to bed before 4 am tonight, but it's already after 3 am.
