Last night I gave all three milk at 3 am, so that we would not have a repeat of the previous night, and it worked. They - and we - got up at 8 am. We had just started eating, when Caritas helper Christine arrived, and she took over feeding Emmy. She had lots of fun with our little comedian, while Tammy was watching their interacting, which distracted her somewhat from eating. I still got some fruit and snacks out to complement their cereal with milk, and kept the remaing cereal for a later dessert.

As a cleaning lady was coming at 9:30 - thank God - I had to stay up until then. As Emmy and Tammy hadn't left the house in a while, and it was a beautiful day, I dressed them and put their ski suits on, so that Christine could take them to the nearby park. Emmy's nap time wasn't until 10:30 am. I put them into the stroller, and off they went. Christine took some pictures and told us how much they had enjoyed running around and exploring the grass and nature. Emmy was fascinated by the subway he could see pass by overground, while Tammy was talking non-stop. They also loved it, when a big group of kindergarten kids came into the park. One time, Tammy shoved her brother who fell down, and as he fell on gravel, his nose got all scratched up. However, he didn't cry, so it looks worse than it was.

Emmy was so revved up that he did not want to sleep when the boys went to bed at 10:30, so Randy took him downstairs to Christine and his sister. Christine then cooked our lunch, which allowed me to sleep a little longer than usual. I got up just before noon, and at noon we fed them. After lunch, we dressed Sammy, as I needed to leave with him at 12:45. As for the other two, it was time for a nap for them, which would be their only nap of the day. Tammy is already used to that, and it works for her, but not for Emmy. She went to bed first and fell asleep within minutes. Then her brother went to bed, but he wouldn't sleep, and Randy had to rock him. He did not get enough sleep, and Tammy also slept shorter than usual, and so Emmy was even more cranky as usual as he was so tired.

I put Sammy into the stroller, and we left nearly on time to go downtown for our appointment; we only had one subway to take. Sammy was in a great mood and talked the whole time (video uploaded). And he stayed in that joyful mood during the whole trip. We got there on time and were the only ones there at first, so we did not really have to wait. We went into the government doctor's office, and she started asking questions about Sammy, while I gave her documents from the hospital about Sammy's condition. Sammy was sitting in my lap, and started talking again, which amused the doctor. When she got her stethoscope out and put it on his chest and back, he started whining and was about to start crying. I assured him there was no shot today, as doctors always mean shots for them, but that didn't make a difference. Gladly it was done fast, then she touched his belly, and that was it. The whole thing was over. The purpose was that we're eligible to receive more child support money from the government because of Sammy's condition, and that's why they examined him.

We returned back home, where Tammy and Emmy had just gotten up from their nap. It wasn't long until their meal time at 3 pm, and so we all stayed up there until that time, while Christine had to leave. A big package with baby snacks had arrived, and Emmy especially loves packages, so I opened it and let them explore it, which was a lot of fun to watch.

At 3 pm it was time for fruit and cereal, and we also tried some new snacks. It was pretty late for Sammy's nap already, and I did not want a repeat of yesterday, when he slept too late, but we put him to bed, and after half an hour, I woke him up so he would still be tired at bed time.

As for the other two, we went downstairs to play right after the meal. Emmy was cranky and tired right away, which meant more effort on my part to keep him busy and distracted. I got the bike back out to push them in circles, and I did so with both of them. I also threw Emmy around a little which he enjoys so much. Sammy joined us at 4 pm, and it was so funny when he turned over the laundry basket and put it on top of himself, which he enjoys doing.

As Emmy was so extremely tired, I left already at 4:45 to go upstairs and make their dinner. And so it was only 5:15, when they came upstairs to eat. And their appetite wasn't great. Emmy loves blueberries and apples, and he ate the last blueberries we had. Tammy loves apples and couldn't get enough of them. I got the leftover cereal with milk from the morning, which they both ate. It was already rather liquid, and Emmy loves using adult spoons and cups, so I started letting him drink it, which he greatly enjoyed. However, he wanted to hold the cup all by himself, so I finally let go of it, and of course, he turned it over and spilled some of the content. Thankfully it wasn't very fully any more. (Video uploaded.) He enjoyed it. And he was so covered in food, that I was glad that he went straight into the bathtub, and so did Tammy, as well as Sammy. They had fun there too. I gave them their toothbrushes, and while the boys let me lead the brush and actually brush their teeth, the girl will not. She wants to be in control! And it's hard to actually take the brushes away from them again, as they just want to keep them.

They came out in the usual order, and went to bed in that order. All three got some milk, and fell asleep rather fast. I had to stay a little for the girl, but it didn't take her very long either. One nap a day works really well for her.

I got some food, did housework, office work, but I did so much housework, that now I don't have enough time for office work, and I had intended to finish our newsletter tonight. As it's 1:30 am, we'll see wether that's possible.
