HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I don't have much to write today as I've been sick all day. Runny nose, sore throat starting, belly ache, diarrhea, and just feeling miserable. Thank God Barbara is here to help so I could have the luxury of staying in bed most day. She's such a tremedous help, cooking, feeding them, even cleaning. I don't know what we would have done without her.
The little ones have been getting up pretty early, somewhere between 6:15 and 6:45. They get milk then, and eat breakfast at 9 am. Then Sammy lies down for his nap, and when he gets up, Emmy gets the bed, and Tammy sleeps on me. She always cries and struggles until I finally get her to settle down and actually sleep. By then Emmy has usually already slept a while.
She slept pretty long this morning, nearly until noon, and I just took her to the living room and lay back down. Randy was so kind to bring me my food to bed. I got to sleep a little more, and Tammy came for her nap around 2:30, waking up by herself before it was 4 pm, which is when I would have woken her up.
In between I also had Sammy a few times. Right now, Sammy HAS to have either Randy or me close to him, or he'll scream. He's always been like that, but right we can't even leave him for a second. So I held him while Randy needed to do something else. At dinner time tonight, he was just screaming and refused to eat. At times all three were screaming. There sure has been a lot of screaming going on. Tammy and Emmy can scream pretty well, and throw a fit, when they don't get their will.
At bedtime, Sammy had the hardest time ever tonight. Usually he's the one who quickly falls asleep, but I don't know what was wrong with him tonight. Milk, dental cream, holding, nothing helped. You feel so helpless when you don't know what is wrong. After holding him for a while - again - I put him back into bed again, and this time he finally fell asleep. Emmy also woke up later and wanted me to take him out and hold him, and he threw a fit when I didn't, and refused to drink his milk. I ignored him, and he drank his milk and fell back asleep. It's not easy when they use so much screaming to get their will!
One time when I had Sammy, he got a chance to stroke the cat. He hasn't done it as much as his siblings and seemed to enjoy it.
I don't really have more to report, as I wasn't out in the play area with them today. I always feel better at night, while my belly is still hurting quite a bit, but I'm powering on, trying to get all the office work done.
This is the 12th day the little ones have diarrhea, and we're still doing everything we were told to do to help them get over it. The doctor is gonna come Wednesday morning. Thanks for praying.
