Tonight Tammy was quite restless in her sleep for a while, and Emmy was as well, which is less unusual. He had a runny nose today and I can tell he has a hard time breathing through his nose. I myself have had a runny nose for a few days, and tissues in Mali are so rough that my nose is getting red.

This is the 8th day of their diarrhea, and Sammy filled his diaper quite often. We bought what the doctor had told us to get and have been giving it to them, as well as only using bought water. Please continue praying.

There's not much to tell about today. I've recently noticed that Sammy is holding his bottle by himself when I feed him, so that's new. And today he actually grabbed a piece of bread with the pincer grasp and put it into his mouth all by himself. That's huge! Both Randy and I also do his exercises with him during the day.

Today we didn't have as many kids over. In the morning, nobody came, and in the afternoon, a few girls were with us for a while. However, they are more interested in the toys and playing with them, than playing with our babies.

It's only two more days until Christmas, and Paul is running around town trying to tick every item off a list. We've had a lot of expenses, and there are more on the horizon, but we move forward in faith. On Thursday all our sponsored kids and workers are coming to our base for a chicken dinner and Christmas celebration. On Monday we do our Kids Christmas party and the following Wednesday we're taking the remaining toys and shoes to the village of Sebela. Please pray for all these events. Pray also for our protection, for the Lord to hide us under His wings. Tonight Randy, Barbara and I prayed together for an hour, which was really good. Just as we were done, a baby needed my attention, so that was great timing.

The little ones are still fascinated by the cats, looking for them all day long. Emmy today was not afraid to touch and pet them any more. Now it was Tammy who seemed scared. The cat is scared the most, mostly by their fast movements, and often runs away from them, unless I'm there.
