HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Last night I went to bed earlier, at 2:15, but I was still tired in the morning, when I had to get up before 9 to make their food and then feed them. We put them to bed for their morning nap, since they had gotten up earlier than usual, and Emmy was yawning. I hear them talk in their beds, while I was lying in mine, ready to sleep, but aware of their voices. After half an hour, I could only hear Tammy any more, and she was starting to whine, so I got up, found the boys asleep, and lay down with her. It did not take her long to fall asleep, only 10 minutes. It was the ideal situation for all three. Emmy always wakes up after half an hour, and as Randy could not respond for a couple of minutes, by the time he came to rock him, it had been too long, and he would not fall back asleep. And then Sammy woke up too, so all the boys went downstairs to play.
Tammy woke up at 11:15, so she slept over an hour, which has been rare recently. And it was the only nap she had today. She joined the boys downstairs, while I set my alarm for 45 minutes later. And Randy woke me up one minute before then.
We fed them at 12:30, then dressed them, got ready ourselves, and I grabbed a quick bite to eat. Sammy was ready first, and so we put him into the swing until everyone was ready and going into the strollers with their jackets on. I was busy getting ready, and when I glanced over there, I saw Tammy on top of her brother in the swing! I didn't get to take a picture of that, because suddenly Sammy started crying hard. I don't know if she bit him or what. So I got her off and took Sammy out, comforted him, and put him in the stroller to wait until we'd leave. I continued getting ready, and then I look over there, and I see Tammy in the swing, on all fours, swinging really hard! I had to laugh! I've already uploaded a video of it. She was swinging so hard, I was worried she'd fall out, but she seemed very sure of herself.
At 1:30 we all left and took two subways to the pediatrician's office. We actually got there early; our appointment was at 2:30. We had just sat down in the waiting room, when we were already called in, so I didn't get to take all those pictures there as usual. We had to undress them, and they weighed them all. By now they already know that they get hurt (get a shot) every time they go there, and they already scream just being weighed. The doctor also listened to their heart/lungs and looked into their ears and mouth. Of course they cried and wanted to be with Mommy. Then it was time for the mengitis shot, and Tammy went first, and screamed. Emmy was in Grandma's arms, and screamed, and I took him. Sammy came last. After a while they calmed down, and we dressed them to leave again. It had not taken long at all today! They were supposed to also get the free flu shot, but they didn't have any available.
They hadn't seen Grandma in a long time, and now they already had to say good-bye after such a short time. They were all drinking milk, the picture showing Tammy and Emmy.
The boys fell asleep on the way home - it was afternoon nap time after all - but the girl was wide awake. We got home around 4:15 pm and went downstairs to play, while Daddy got himself something to eat. All three were in good shape, and not as cranky as they often are. They had fun playing, and playing also with Mommy. At 5 pm I went upstairs to get their food ready; we're trying to push dinner time to half an hour later at least, to 5:30 pm, and it was a few minutes later than that tonight. Emmy again did a great job putting food into his mouth, bread as well as bananas. He didn't care much for the strawberries and raspberries. He mainly goes for the bananas, and I even gave him some of Tammy's. Tammy likes the soup best, and likes the fruit, but she didn't care for the bread, and I could hardly get her to eat any. They both like the cream cheese, and accepted it when I put just cheese into their mouths. They went straight into the bathtub, as well as Sammy, and then to bed.
I had noticed that Emmy was sneezing a lot all day, and after I put him to bed, I noticed he had a hard time breathing through his nose. He woke up later, crying, and seemed to have a little bit of a fever. I rocked him for a little while to help him fall asleep, after putting some oils to help him breathe on his chest. While he whines a little now and then, he's been sleeping fine since. Agree with me for his fast recovery, and that the others don't get it.
I walked away again right away after putting them to sleep, but ended up giving all three milk. It was Sammy who was whining and not going to sleep, and he sure needs the calories. This time Tammy wasn't jealous when I got him out to feed him. She was really tired, and didn't cry that long after I walked away.
Cooking, eating while listening to a voter fraud hearing in the US, and then office work that I still have a lot to get done off. There's a few hours left tonight!
