14 months 30 days

I went to bed around the typical 3:30, and was woken up at 8:50 to make their food and feed them. Then they went to bed for their morning nap, but I think we need to push it to later as it's hard to get them to sleep this early. At 9:30 I picked up Tammy to lie down with her; she never sleeps by herself during the day, and it took her until 10 before she fell asleep on me. At 10:40 the doorbell rang (Amazon delivery). Emmy was still awake and crying, but then he started screaming. I was able to slide Tammy onto the bed, get up and get the packages. Then I picked up Emmy and lay down next to his sister. Well, it didn't work this time. Tammy woke up, and so nap time was over.

Randy had left the house with Sammy at 10:30 to go to physiotherapy, so it was just the three of us, and we went downstairs. We played for a long time. It's amazing how they fight over toys, when there are so many. Somehow they always want each other's, and Tammy usually wins. Emmy was pretty tired and cranky, as you can imagine.

At noon we went upstairs and I fed them lunch. Emmy needed a nap bad, and it was 12:45 before he got to lie down. Tammy went to the kitchen with me, where I grabbed something quick and easy to eat. Then the boys returned, and I gave Daddy some food, who first tried to feed Sammy lunch, but he'd had too much milk on the road. And Emmy was back up with all the commotion; he hadn't slept long. So I took all three downstairs, while Daddy ate in the kitchen. Today I've spent more time in the play area with them than I have in a while!

At 2:30 we fed them their afternoon meal, and everyone went to bed for their afternoon nap. Tammy slept on me again, falling asleep around 3 pm. Emmy, though so tired, was just crying and crying, and Daddy prefers letting him cry, thinking he'd fall asleep, as rocking him is not working any more in getting him to sleep. At 3:30 Tammy woke up, as I shouted something to Randy. Randy took Tammy downstairs, while I tried to get Emmy to sleep, but to no avail. At 4 pm I took both boys downstairs. And then it was play time again. We had lots of fun, and I had to do lots of fun stuff especially with Emmy to keep him happy. And I have some cute videos I've already uploaded.

Emmy is our circus artist; he can not only carry lots of pacifiers at once, but also three cones. And he's now the master of the drawers, putting stuff inside, and taking it back out. Today both of them also started opening drawers in the kitchen!

It was so cute today when Tammy and Emmy came over to Sammy. Tammy kissed him, and Emmy held his hand. They can be rough with him, but they can also be really sweet, especially Tammy.

We're trying to push their bedtime to later, but since they were so tired, I only went to the kitchen a few minutes later than usual. I think we fed them at about 5:15 pm. Today I would not let them run around and feed them, but they stayed in their chairs. Tammy wouldn't eat for a while in protest, but then she finally started eating again. They sure know what they like now! Emmy loves his bananas, and spits out the strawberries and raspberries. He's also really good at putting food into his mouth, and goes for both the bread and the bananas. Tammy is now starting to put food into her mouth herself, but doesn't do it often yet. And she likes everything.

Everyone went into the bathtub again, and then went to bed, first Sammy, then Emmy, then Tammy. Again, I walked away right away, and again, Emmy fell asleep that way, while Tammy was just crying and screaming for me to come back. Eventually I did and she lay down to sleep. Normally Sammy falls asleep right away, but tonight he was awake and fussing. I finally made him some milk, and had to walk away for that, which got the girl back up on her feet and screaming. She lay down when I returned, but was up and screaming when I dared to pick up Sammy, while I would not pick her up! She was looking at me the whole time I was feeding Sammy, being jealous, and thinking life is unfair, I'm sure. After Sammy was done and back in bed, she lay back down too, and I had to stay until she fell asleep, which was soon. By then it was after 7 pm.

Randy was out buying groceries, which is more challenging now that all the stores close at 7 pm because of the lockdown. I got to cook, which takes time, eat, and then start office work, which I will continue now.
