I went to bed at my typical time of 3:30, even though at one point I thought it was gonna be earlier. Since my night is so short, I don't normally wake up, when Randy gets up to feed them in the morning, some time between 7 and 8. Today it was 8, and I did wake up, because Sammy was crying so hard. I even got up and picked him up to comfort him, which made the other two start crying and wanting me to pick him up. I was glad when Randy came with the bottles and I was able to go back to bed.

My alarm woke me just over half an hour later; I should have turned it off. I got up, just to tell Randy since they had gotten up so late this morning, we'd feed them at 9:30 instead of 9, and then I went back to bed for half an hour. Before I knew it, again the harsh sound of the alarm clock. I got up to make their food, and we fed them. Then we put them to bed for their morning nap.

First I lay down with Tammy, but she was not quite ready to sleep, so I put her back to bed and picked up Emmy, who was tired. However, he would not sleep either, but threw his pacifier out, which he loves to do, so he went bak to bed, and once again Tammy joined me in bed. She finally fell asleep around 10:15, and did sleep for over 90 minutes. Then I took her downstairs to the boys. Emmy had only slept 5 minutes, so I went back upstairs with him to lie down with him. It was 12:10, and he slept for an hour.

After he had woken up, the other two joined us upstairs and we fed them their lunch. Then they all went downstairs, while I started cooking.

I brought our plates of food downstairs, and then joined them to play, after I had eaten. At 2:20 we took them all upstairs for their afternoon nap. Sammy fell asleep right away, and Emmy didn't need much time either. I lay down with Tammy, but she never quite fell asleep. When Emmy woke up, Randy tried to rock him back to sleep, but it wasn't working. Since Sammy woke up too, he started feeding the boys their afternoon meal. A few minutes later we joined them, since Tammy wasn't sleeping. That's when I did that cute video of our meal time I've uploaded. They had cereal with fruit, and I also gave them a cookie that Grandma had given them. I was impressed at how Tammy was putting it into her mouth and actually eating it. Still, much of it landed on the floor as crumbs.

Then we all went downstairs to play. It was already around 4 pm. Tammy and Emmy had lots of fun, and I just love the video of them playing together that I've uploaded. And then I got the crayons for babies out that I bought a while back, as I ready how good it is for them to draw. Well, their first drawing experience wasn't quite that. All the lines on the paper that you can see were done by me, trying to show them how to draw. They were more interested in putting the crayons into their mouths! Good thing they're edible! Even the packaging was more interesting than drawing, and Emmy was upset when I put them all away. He had the big part of the crayon in his mouth, with only the tip sticking out.

And I did lots of swinging and putting them upside down to keep them happy. Emmy had not slept long, and Tammy not at all in the afternoon. I was gonna feed them half an hour later than usual, as their afternoon meal had been late, and finally left them with Daddy to go get everything ready.

Just before 5:30 we started feeding them. I'm impressed how well Emmy now feeds himself, picking up bread and fruit and putting it into his mouth. I saw him do it more than ever tonight. And Tammy likes handling the spoon they all get to practice. She actually puts it into the food AND into her mouth, though nothing is on it, and she's doing that really well. Emmy just throws the spoon on the floor - which is what Tammy does after a while as well. Sammy wants to feed himself, but cannot do it, so he gets upset when Daddy wants to feed him instead.

They all went straight into the bathtub again, which they all enjoy. The daily baths help with that, so they don't forget the water and still enjoy their swim class once it starts up again. Then they went into bed in their usual order, Sammy, then Emmy, then Tammy. And thankfully they were so tired it did not take long for them to fall asleep.

But it was only just after 8 pm when Sammy started crying, first waking his brother up, who soon fell back asleep, but only after waking his sister up, and Tammy had a hard time falling back asleep for a while. I had to pick her up for a few minutes one time, and had to stay around a little, for her to fall asleep. Sammy needed milk, and they all ended up getting some. I'll be feeding them one more time before going to bed, probably at 3:30 again.
