HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I went to bed at 3:30, but didn't fall asleep until after 4 am, and got up before 9 am to make their food. We fed them at 9, and then put them to bed for their morning nap. Tammy and Emmy were talking with each other. At 9:45 I picked up Tammy, as she was starting to get cranky, and lay down with her. She fell asleep at 10 am and slept for 90 minutes.
At 10:30 the Mobile Support lady came - first time in the morning, as she usually comes in the afternoon. Sammy was already whining, and a little later Emmy joined him downstairs. Sammy hadn't slept very long, and so he was rather cranky druing the 90 minutes the lady was here. Daddy had to stay close-by to encourage him. When the girl woke up, she joined them downstairs for the last half hour while I went back to bed.
Randy woke me up before 1 pm so we could feed them. After their meal, they all went downstairs with me, while Randy cooked omelets which he does once a week. We had fun together. Sammy was crawling to the house again and likes pulling it on top of himself, and he also likes playing with these cubes that have all those interesting things on them. Of course, his siblings ALWAYS want to play with whatever he is playing with, and they are pretty rough, climbing over him and not being careful when they are around him. Sometimes, though, they do these cute, kind gestures, holding his hands, kissing him, or stroking him.
Randy brought me a plate of food, and I tried to sit down at my desk to eat, as it's extremely hard to eat with them, when they're trying to get to your plate. They weren't too happy, plus they were getting tired. I was not able to finish my food. Instead we took them all upstairs for their afternoon nap. It was 2:20 pm when they went to bed. Emmy was pretty tired, and so was Sammy, and they fell asleep in their beds. I was sitting right there, hoping that would be enough for the girl, and finished eating my food. It was not enough. Once I was done eating, I picked her up and lay down with her.
And she NEVER slept, even though I tried for the next 75 minutes! At 3 pm I got up and fed her her afternoon meal. She looked pretty tired, so I lay back down with her. I thought she had fallen asleep and picked up my phone, but her head went up, and she would not lay back down. At 3:45 I finally gave up and got up with her. In the meantime, Randy had fed the boys their afternoon meal and was downstairs with them, where we joined them.
Since the boys had eaten late, we moved the last meal to half an hour later, and I was able to stay with them until 5 pm and play. Emmy is usually the most cranky, and I always have to swing him and turn him upside down to make him happy.
Then I went to the kitchen to get their food ready, filled the bathtub and prepared their beds. At 5:30 we started feeding them. My two did great, eating everything they had on their plates, and I didn't even have to run after them, which is rare!
Everyone enjoyed their bath, and then they went to bed, first Sammy, then Emmy, then Tammy. They were pretty tired today, so it did not take very long for them to fall asleep, though I did have the typical problem of Emmy getting active when I'm there, and then lying down when I walk away, while Tammy goes to sleep while I'm there, and gets up and screams when I walk away.
Cooking, eating, cleaning, office work, as usual. I just placed the order for the 6th picture book for this year alone, with nearly 200 pages, which represents not even 2 months of these updates and pictures. It's quite a financial investment, but also my gift to the children, as we have 4 books printed, one for us, and one for each one of them.
