Last night I went to bed around 3:30 am. Needless to say, it was hard getting up at 8:50 to make their food and then feed them. Then we put them into bed for their morning nap. I lay down with Tammy, but Emmy was crying really hard, and Randy was eating breakfast. I finally could not bear to listen any longer and picked him up as well. Of course, there is no sleeping when they are both in bed with me, but they are just happy and ready to have fun. Randy then changed Tammy's diaper, gave her back to me, and changed Emmy's diaper, and put him back in bed. Again, he was crying really hard, while Tammy was falling asleep on me. Randy was done eating, so he sat down to rock him to sleep, but it wasn't working. Mommy is the one who knows how to get them to sleep! Tammy had just fallen asleep, so I got up to switch, hoping she'd just continue sleeping on him, which didn't happen. Randy finally went downstairs with her, and with Sammy who was also asleep by then. Emmy slept on me, even though it was only for 40 minutes. It was 10:50 and I took him downstairs to the others and went back to bed and fell asleep. I do sleep better by myself, plus I sleep on my belly, and with a baby I sleep on my back.

I woke up at 11:45 after having a nightmare involving the kids. I was alone at the airport, flying somewhere with Tammy and Emmy, and everything that can go wrong was going wrong. In the end, they both disappeared, and there was a staircase going down right in front of me. I guess I have been thinking so much about our trip to Mali in a few weeks!!!

I went downstairs to get my little ones, and we all went upstairs to feed them, then took them back downstairs. However, they were so tired that we decided to take them back up and then to bed. We put them down at 12:50 pm. I was thinking about what to cook for us adults, but Tammy was crying, and so I decided to lie down with her to help her fall asleep, while Randy started cooking omelets. I was very tired myself and fell asleep with her. Randy brought the omelet at some point, and I ate it while lying down with a sleeping Tammy on me. Emmy woke up as always, and I believe Randy tried to rock him back to sleep, but I'm not sure how much he actually slept. Thankfully Sammy usually sleeps well.

When Tammy woke up at 2:30, the boys were already all downstairs, and they all came up for their afternoon meal. Everybody was still upstairs, when the Mobile Therapy Support lady arrived at 3 pm.

Randy went to the grocery store (they now close at 7 pm because of the lockdown), while I stayed the whole 90 minutes with the lady and the little ones. And those were tough 90 minutes, mainly because Emmy was extremely tired and kept crying and throwing himself to the ground. And Tammy wanted me to hold her the whole time. Sammy did well for much of the time, even impressing the lady with how much he was crawling, but at some point I had to hold him to, so I had all three on me at times.

One funny moment was when Emmy found a new space to crawl into, a closed shelf on the bottom, under the TV, and from there he crawled under the little bench, a repurposed babybed, and suddenly he felt caught under there, like in a prison. It was hilarious! The lady showed him the way back out. I'm sure he'll go back there again soon.

I was so glad when I heard Randy returning just as the lady was leaving. Still, he put the urgent groceries away first, and so it was already 4:40 before I went upstairs to get their food ready. As tired as they were, Randy suggested we just feed them a jar, something quick, and so I put the soup in the warmer (that they always eat at night), and just cut up some bananas and strawberries, no bread. That way we were able to feed them sooner. I still filled the bathtub, as they're enjoying their baths before going to bed, and they also did today. And today, they all fell asleep really fast, which was a blessing and allowed me to go on to other things earlier than usual. Even though I had a new sleep sound going on Alexa, with ocean waves and seagulls, and it made me dream of a vacation on the ocean. I love the ocean! One day!
