HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
This morning during nap time I lay down with Tammy, who fell into a deep sleep on me. I had decided not to switch babies all the time any more, as nobody gets to sleep that way. However, I kept hearing a very tired Emmy cry and fell so bad for him. Finally I was able to gently let Tammy slide off me and onto the bed right next to me and she continued sleeping. I picked up Emmy who was about to sleep on me, when Randy came into the room. Emmy was awake again, and I could not get him to sleep any more. Randy had to take him downstairs with him. Sammy was also crying, but I was unsuccessful with him as well. Tammy also woke up sooner than if she had slept on me.
We fed them lunch around noon time, and Tammy and Emmy ate it all today. Then Randy and I ate. The door bell rang, and the mail man brought us a late birthday present for the babies from our good friends. I had been waiting for it impatiently and immediately set up the tunnel and house. Tammy went right into the tunnel. She loved it! Emmy was more cautious and fearful. I was looking into the tunnel from the other end and encouraged him to come to me. Halfway through the tunnel he started whining, but I was able to coax him to come all the way to me. Even Sammy went half-way into the tunnel. By the way, we discovered that Sammy now also has tooth #3 coming out.
For the afternoon meal they had something new, an Austrian dessert, that I've held off on, and for good reason, as nobody liked it. Tammy and Emmy did not even finish one jar together. Then it was nap time again. Tammy slept on me, but the boys never fell asleep. Surprisingly, it was Tammy who was really cranky and whining the rest of the afternoon, not the boys.
At 3:30 our friends came to help for two hours. The little ones were really happy to see them. Randy had to drill more holes to finish hanging up the big pictures, and we went outside so they would not be scared. They were walking around a lot, which they enjoy. I got to do some office work, and when Sammy started whining, I picked him up and held him while doing office work. Just before I went upstairs to start getting their dinner ready, he started talking really loud, like he was voicing a strong opinion, and kept doing it for a while, having a conversation with me. It was the cutest thing, and I'm glad my friends did a short video of it.
Randy took my place downstairs while I worked on their dinner. It was just after 5 pm when we went upstairs to feed them. My friend fed Tammy, and I fed Emmy, who sat quietly in his chair for a while which is unlike him. He was tired already. But he did start spitting his food out, which is very common for me, and wanted out of the chair at some point. He enjoyed crawling around everywhere and pulling stuff off the shelf, and it didn't take long before Tammy joined him.
Then it was time to change them, put their pj's on, pray over them, put them into their sleeping bags, and give them a bottle of milk, They all fell asleep pretty fast. I guess they were asleep by 6 pm, and at 9:30 pm all three already needed milk. They seem to drink more milk than ever during the night now, every 3-4 hours.
