HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
It was 4 am again before I made it to bed, way too late. It was tough getting up at 8:50 to make their food and feed them. After eating, I put them into their beds for their morning nap and went back to bed myself. Sammy always sleeps, but the other two never fell asleep. Their whining kept me up as well for much of the time. At 10 am my phone rang, and when I saw that it was Sammy's physiotherapist, I took the call. Good thing I have reception in our bed room, as we don't have any in much of the apartment. Sammy's appointment was moved from 2 pm to 11:30 am. I let Randy know who was the one going with him and now needed to leave at 10:30. So my sleep was already over, as I got Sammy's clothes ready and then took Emmy and Tammy downstairs with me.
We had a fun time together, and they did pretty well, considering they hadn't slept. At 11:30 I took them upstairs to feed them. As they hadn't slept and were tired, I put them down for a nap again. Emmy was so tired it didn't take much for him to fall asleep. It was a different story with Tammy. I tried to help her fall asleep in her bed, but it didn't work. Three times I lay down with her in my bed, which usually works, but not today. Then Emmy woke up and stood in his bed crying. I put him back down, stroked his head, and he fell back asleep. When he woke up again, I picked him up and lay down with him. By that time I had given up on Tammy. But Emmy was done sleeping, so three of us went back downstairs where we continued playing.
The boys returned before 1:30. I had succeeding in eating at my desk, where they could see me. After they got home, Randy fed Sammy and then ate himself. At 2:30 we fed them their afternoon meal, back upstairs in their chairs. Again, nap time. Tammy STILL hadn't slept, and Sammy needed his nap too. Emmy had slept after lunch. I'm not sure if Emmy ever slept. I was lying down with Tammy, who fell asleep immediately.
It didn't take long for both boys to start crying, and I tried to get Randy to respond to them, but he was busy. He finally got them, but my efforts had woken Tammy up before her time. She was tired and cranky for the rest of the day.
So we were back downstairs playing. All three were a little cranky and wanted to be close to me much of the time. Emmy loves it when you lift him up by his legs a little, so it's easy to make him laugh. The girl is a little harder. Sammy loves it when I put his toes into his mouth. This afternoon he crawled all the way from me to their house, and I got to film it. Emmy and Tammy also love being in their house and playing there, and they shake it up big time. It's a cute picture of Emmy looking out of the window, as I was playing with him.
At 4:30 we switched and Randy stayed while I went to the kitchen to make their dinner, which takes me about half an hour. Then I went to get them, carrying two heavy babies upstairs and then feeding them in their high chairs, while Randy was feeding Sammy. They had tomato soup tonight which is more liquid and it was big mess! They looked like Indians at the end! Good thing I had already filled the bathtub with water, where they went directly after they were done.
Then I put them to bed. Sammy and Emmy fell asleep really fast, but not so the girl. It took her long time, dental cream, and milk, and repeatedly coming back and stroking her head, before she finally fell asleep.
Please pray I find the time and energy to do some much-needed office work. Tomorrow we'll all be out of the house again in the afternoon.
