HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today they are 11 months old biologically! This morning I got less sleep than usual. Sammy was crying so hard he would not drink his milk, so I woke up, and then I heard the others crying and stayed awake for a while, until they were all downstairs with Randy. My alarm woke me then at 8:50 and it was really hard to get up, as I had also gone to bed later than usual last night, around 3 am, and then I had so many things on my mind it was hard to fall asleep.
We fed them downstairs, and then I went back to bed. By myself, as they now have only one nap a day. Randy woke me before my second alarm went off, as the babies were cranky and definitely tired, maybe also hungry. I got up, and we fed them at the dining room table, and then it was nap time. We put them to bed; the boys fell asleep right away, and Tammy needed a little time. Emmy woke up after only half an hour, and if he is not sleeping on us, he stays up. So I picked him up and lay down with him, and he continued sleeping on me. He slept another half hour, so had one hour total, which is still not great. Tammy woke up a few minutes later, so she also only slept an hour. Sammy slept about 90 minutes.
Since I was lying down with Emmy, I started cooking an hour later than usual, and we ate late as well. Randy sat on the couch, and all three wanted his food so bad! He did give them a little.
Not long after we were done eating, it was already time for their second meal, cold cereal with fruit. We fed them all sitting on the couch. Tammy and Emmy never wanted to sit on me for long, but had to stand and move around, with me trying to get the spoon into their mouths. Tammy actually stood between Randy and me and got food from both of us!
Tammy and Emmy were pretty cranky, and I thought they were tired. I tried to put them to bed, but they were upset by that idea. Then I tried to lie down with one, and then the other, but while they were tired, they were not tired enough to stay down on me and fall asleep, so we all went back downstairs.
It was playtime. They were walking with their cart, and I got the car out, and it was either Tammy sitting and Emmy pushing, or the other way around. They do love that.
I do have some milestones to report: Emmy now has 4 teeth like his sister, Sammy still 3. And today Tammy took 2 steps without holding on to anything! So far we had only seen Emmy take one step. She was standing and holding my hand, and I had to let go, and she took the two steps to the couch and held on to it. Great job, Tammy! You're on top of the leaderboard again!
At 3 pm the Mobile Therapy Support lady arrived to work with Sammy. I was surprised she only wore a face mask, when she had worn more the last few weeks, and with the Corona numbers reaching new records in Vienna. It's definitely better for her AND the babies this way.
