We had milestones yesterday, with Tammy standing for a moment without holding on to anything, and today. Tammy clapped her hands for the first time today. I tried to get it on video, and succeeded eventually. She really enjoys doing it too.

I was blessed to connect with a fellow triplet Mom last night and get great advice. As a result, when they woke up this morning, we changed their diapers and then made them bottles of milk and just put them into their mouths and hands while lying in bed and went back to bed ourselves. That way they drink and fall back asleep, and everyone gets more sleep. As I had fed Sammy at 3 am, he slept longer anyway, and he's the only one who can't hold his own bottle.

I was glad Randy got more sleep, as he needed it, and I sleep in the morning anyway. It was 12 when I woke up and looked at my phone. I got up right away and we fed the babies, then I cooked for us, and when we had all eaten, we packed everyone up to leave the house.

We took two subways to go to a place that was recommended, where we were hoping to have a copy of our old house key made, as one key was lost. The guy explained to us why he cannot make us a copy. You have to get something from the house management that allows them to do so, and so you can't hide from them that you lost a key. We'll just have to pay the (up to) 800€ ($1000) for them to change the lock.

Leaving there, we decided to go to the hardware store since we needed a few items, and that store is not far from our house. The phone showed me that it was just a subway and then a tram ride to get there.

When we got off the tram, we were under the highway, and there were escalators and stairs going up to the street level. We saw the elevator and got on it, and ended up on a train platform with rails on either side and the store we were going to on the other side of them. There was only one way down to the street - and it's the one you see on the picture. It wasn't too bad with the single stroller, but Randy had the double and had to slowly go down backwards. Already Emmy was so fed up with sitting in the stroller, which didn't help.

Once down, there was a bike path that was leading up to the street level, and we were able to get to the hardware store. Sammy was getting really cranky and was fed up with being in the stroller. Emmy has not enjoyed the stroller at all recently and can go ballistic when he wants out. Inside the store, Randy took out Sammy to calm him down, and I then changed him as he had a bad dirty diaper. We got our stuff as quickly as possible and left the store.

Emmy had reached his boiling point and I had no choice but to take him out and carry him on my arm, while pushing a happy Tammy in the stroller. The bus stop was right by the store. We waited a long time for the bus. I finally put Emmy into Sammy's stroller, and he was beaming from ear to ear. Finally sitting on top! He enjoyed it so much, and so did Tammy, who now had her brother next to her, on the same level. They kept trying to hold hands when we'd walk next to each other. It was so much fun watching their interaction.

When the bus showed up, it was Sammy who had to go on the bottom, and he was okay with that, as he did not want to be in ANY stroller. It did not take us too long to get home, but by then it was already dinner time. Only Emmy had slept in the stroller, right at the beginning, but not the other two, so they were pretty tired. I quickly made their food, and Randy fed Sammy, while I fed the other two at the same time. Tammy was so tired she didn't eat much.

Then I realized it was Monday and therefore bath and weigh-in day, so I got the bathtub ready. I bathed Sammy first, as he can't sit by himself, and he was crying as much as last time, not enjoying it. He was extremely tired and immediately fell asleep, when I put him to bed.

Then we put the other two into the bathtub to play together, and they loved it. Emmy started getting up, and was trying to crawl up the side of the bathtub, sliding down, and he'd just laugh and try again. He enjoyed the sliding part so much! He kept doing it over and over. Good thing the water was low.

Out they came and into bed. Our friend recommended we put them to bed and walk away, and let them cry until they finally stop and fall asleep, so I decided to try at. Both Tammy and Emmy were crying. They kept crying, until I finally went there, put them back down, stroked their head, and walked away, just to return and do the same. Tammy did not take long to fall asleep, as she was very tired, but Emmy was still crying and not happy, and usually he is the one who just goes to sleep! Not tonight. It took quite a while, and me sitting with them as in the past, before he finally fell asleep.

Our friend recommended we feed them at 10 pm, so they sleep longer. At 10:30 pm all three woke up hungry. I put a bottle into Tammy's and Emmy's mouth and hands, but had to feed Sammy. Emmy simply drank and then fell asleep, but not the other two. Sammy was wide awake, and now that he has a big bed, he can turn onto his back, which he does all day long. Unfortunately he does not sleep on his back. I had to leave him, and her, and kept hearing them talk with each other. Until Sammy was getting cranky, so I went and turned him onto his belly to sleep. I also put Tammy back down and put the bottle back into her mouth, and she continued drinking. I was able to walk away, and they soon fell asleep.

Today Tammy weighed 8.07 kilos (-10 grams), Emmy 7.45 (+60) and Sammy 6.55 (+30).
