Last night it was 3:20, tonight it's 3:45 as I start writing this update. There's just so much today, physical work, that I work so long that it's this late before I sit down to work at the computer. I don't know how to go to bed earlier again, with so much left to do. Last night I went to bed at 4 am, and right then a baby started crying, and then another one, and I ended up helping - holding babies while Randy was making milk and feeding them, so it was 4:30 before I really got to close my eyes to sleep.

On the first picture you see the view from my office desk while standing. I'm right next to the babies, but I really don't get to ever sit down there all day long right now. We fed the babies their lunch, and while I was cooking our own lunch, our friend Sonja returned to help. I was so glad! It is still impossible to walk away from the babies even for a minute right now, as they cry, just as Emmy in this picture. Usually, if somebody is here to be with the babies, like today, they get over it fast as they get distracted. I was so thankful for Sonja, as this afternoon ended up crazy busy. So much so that I forgot to watch the time, so that the babies got their second meal really late! I'm surprised they didn't complain about it earlier. The only reason I noticed was that I heard Sammy crying. He'll always let you know when it's mealtime. Today we fed them a 10 jar for the first time, meaning it's from 9 months old and up. Sammy is a little behind, and we had to give him a little more time in the past, and today he did not want to eat that jar either. The others did not have a problem with it.

I went straight back to work after they had been fed. Another friend came today to help Randy put all the foils up. They were supposed to put the kitchen backsplash foil up, as well as the black foil to cover the glass upstairs where the bright light from outside comes through and disturbs the babies at night, as well as a mirror foil on the windows downstairs so that people cannot look inside. Well, only the first one happened, as we needed some of the cleaning supplies that are still at the old apartment. But the kitchen took a long time, and they were a great team. They got it done! What do you think? Isn't it great? I love the ocean, and now I get to see it every day.

After feeding them their dinner, I first put Sammy to bed who was pretty tired. Tammy was also very tired and so she came next, rather than Emmy. I decided to not bring Emmy up until she was asleep. If they're both awake they just play instead of going to sleep. Tammy was so tired that it did not take long, and Emmy was tired too. So tonight went really well, not taking as long as usual.

Until 10:30 pm. Randy was putting a shelf together and dropped something. The loud noise woke Tammy, whose crying then woke the other two. I spent about an hour with them before they were all asleep again and I could walk away. Randy had to help me when all three were crying, and I did not have a choice but to give them milk, so all three got milk, feeding them one after another. At least it's 4 am and they haven't woken up again.

I then continued emptying office boxes and putting stuff away, doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen, carrying bathroom boxes to the bathroom, etc. There's still a long way to go!
