HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I was woken up by a baby who I ended up feeding last night, and that was enough to make them all sleep longer, so that Randy got more sleep. We have both appreciated having a friend stay with us for 3 nights to help. She got up early too and took care of the babies, which allowed Randy to work. At 11 am a church friend showed up to help Randy put shelves together for a couple of hours. While yesterday was MALM day (the name of the shelves Randy put together), today was EKET day. There was 5 of these 2x2 boxes shelves that were put together. In the evening our friend and I moved them all to their final positions, boxing in the play area.
I had a hard time getting up at 11 am today, well, it's now every day, I guess. Barbara and I fed the babies while Randy was working. I got feed for all three adults ready, while cooking my own food, and watching the clock as I had to leave at 1:45, and I was stressing a little about getting it all done. I had to mix the babies' next meal up too, as I was not gonna be home for that.
It felt so weird to leave the house alone, and not have a stroller. I even forgot my face mask, as it's always tied to the stroller when I don't use it. I had to come back and lose more time, but in the end I did get to the doctor's office in time.
Today was a very hot day, and the waiting room there was even hotter. I had to sit and wait for a whole hour before it was my turn, and then I was inside for 5 minutes.
I made my way back home, taking advantage of being out by myself to go to the police station first, which had been on the to-do-list for over a month. I got to know more of my neighborhood going there. It's so weird, because it's as if I've moved to another town! I don't know this part of Vienna at all. And it's a part of town that has been developing fast these recent years.
I had to report our mail box being damaged by someone trying to break into it - even though that happened before we moved in. The renters needed those papers for the insurance to replace the mailbox, so it's been done now.
I took the bus back home, 2 stops, and stopped at the pharmacy close to us to pick up a prescription. It was really time I'd make it home, which is why I did not stop at the grocery store.
Back home I made their final meal right away, while Randy left to go to the store. Barbara and I fed the babies and put them to bed. They were pretty tired, or so it seemed, but as soon as they were in bed, they were awake again and standing up and laughing at each other. That is why the boys need to go to bed first, and when they sleep, Tamara can go to bed. That way there is no one to play with. Tonight, it took a long time again, and surprisingly it was Tammy who fell asleep first. Sammy had a pretty tough day, and while Emmy took a long time to fall asleep, Sammy took even longer. In fact, Randy came to help and ended up falling asleep in the chair - but without Sammy who he had already put into bed.
While he was sleeping, Barbara made a simple soup, and we got to talk, and then I made my food. I ended up waking Randy up, who actually got up the third time I tried to, so he could eat the food while still warm. He ended up talking up a storm, sharing stories with Barbara.
As for me, tiredness hit me big time. And I'm usually the most awake at night! I powered on anyway, and worked hard until 2:30 before I finally started writing this, so I could get to bed. Good night, everyone!
