Last night was tough. Not only did I feed all three after midnight, but 2.5 hours later Emmy was up again and would not be comforted. I didn't want to feed him again after such a short time, and I lay down in bed with him. However, he would not fall/stay asleep, and after half an hour, I got up and fed him, and he was fine after that. So it was close to 4 am before I finally got to sleep myself. I was extremely tired all day long, could not keep my eyes open at church. Only after eating dinner tonight did I have some energy. I'm now reaching out to people letting them know we need help, people to come babysit. We've been working on this move for weeks and we're not young any more, and we have a really tough week ahead. Surely there's people out there who have time and can come help us for a few hours!

It seems that all we do any more is save Sammy from his siblings. They are so rough when they climb on top of him, try to suffocate him, etc; Randy says they could have killed him already, which I don't know that that has ever happened. He does like it when they come to him, and tolerates a lot, but only to a point.

Time flew by, we fed them their second meal, and somehow we just couldn't make it out the door in time at all to go to church. Emmy fell asleep in the stroller on the way there, and slept for a while at the beginning of the service. Sammy got tired after a while, and Randy him a little bed with blankets on the floor where he slept most of the service. Tammy and Emmy were playing on the floor for much of the time. By the end of the service, they were exhausted and fell asleep in the stroller on the way home.

Back home, Tammy was still sleeping in the stroller, though not for long, but the boys were up. I made their last meal of the day and we fed them. One after another I changed them, put their pj's on and put them to bed. I was positively surprised that Tammy went straight to sleep, no protests. It was Emmy who was crying tonight and needed some comforting before he was fine, but it didn't take long.

Randy (and I a little bit) did some packing of kitchen items that we can live without for a week, and I guess we talked too much, as the girl woke up. I kept stroking her head, encouraging her to fall back asleep, but it never lasted for more than a few minutes. I finally gave her some milk, and after that she was content and fell back asleep for good. Let's see what this night is going to be like!
