10 months 5 days

Last night I had so much to do it got late, and then Emmy needed milk twice after midnight, and Sammy once, before my shift ends at 4 am. I ended up going to bed at 4:30 am, which I hadn't done in a while, and I felt it all day.
Today we had to be at our new apartment at 2 pm - to sign the contract and receive the keys. It's a little over a half-hour trip from our current apartment with two subways. It was a really hot - and sunny - day today.
The lady from the building company met us there and started showing us around. She showed us our mailbox, our basement storage compartment, a common room you can use for parties and the like (too bad there is no ping pong table) and the roof. The roof is a lot of concrete and plants along the sides, with a netted area for children to play ball in. And of course we went to our apartment.
I was busy with the lady taking care of all the formalities, so Randy sat down with the babies. They all wanted out, and we had to take some of their clothes off as they were hot. Randy put a blanket on the floor and the babies on it. Tammy and Emmy did not stay of it, of course. Especially Emmy just took off, crawling really fast to the balcony door! He was helping us check it all out. Tammy cried some tears, falling and hitting her head on the hard floor.
I walked through the whole apartment with the lady, and she tried everything out and showed us everything. It turned out that the lock on the door to the outside on the bottom - that we want to use tomorrow to move stuff into the apartment - was broken. She called the locksmith right away who amazingly came immediately, showing up only minutes later! He fixed it temporarily, so we can use it tomorrow, and we'll install the new lock when he gets it.
She gave me all kinds of papers, and then we finally both signed the contract. The picture shows Randy on the floor signing it. When the lady left minutes later, all three babies were crying. I guess she fled the scene! We had already been there for a considerable amount of time, and they were not only hot but tired. We calmed them down as best as we could do, put them in the stroller, and left to go home. The boys slept some on the way home. Unfortunately both subway trains were old models, without air conditioning, so we were (still) pretty hot.
We got home a lot later than I had expected. It was time for their last meal. We fed them, changed them, and put them to bed. Emmy falls asleep at first, but a little later he wakes up and needs comforting. Tammy needs help right away. So I lay down with Emmy, rocking him to sleep, and Randy sat in the rocking chair with Tammy, rocking her to sleep. After a while I put Emmy back into his bed, and then moved Tammy from Randy's chest to her bed right next to him. Emmy already woke up again at 9 am and drank some milk, with Randy rocking him back to sleep.
I've been trying to get everything done quickly tonight, so I can go to bed earlier. Tomorrow some of our friends show up at 7:30 am already to help Randy move stuff, and someone is helping me with the babies. I don't know how I'm gonna get up that early!
Tonight we got some more things ready for tomorrow morning; there'll be a lot more space here by tomorrow night!
I forgot to mention: Emmy never tried to stand up today, though I tried to encourage him.
