HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Once again it was hard getting up in the morning, and I was tired all day long. And at one point all the pressure on me from different sides seemed to be too much. I wished we could find some people to help us with the babies at times!
After lunch we all left to go to the apartment together. I hadn't been there in a while, and originally the electrician was gonna come (now he comes Tuesday), but I still wanted to go and make sure everything was ready for the kitchen delivery on Monday. None of us can go there tomorrow or the day after.
When we got there, it was time for them to eat their second meal. Randy helped me, so it didn't take too long. And by now we're pros at feeding them! We put them in their little temporary play area, which they love! They get so excited, and start exploring the shelves and toys and every corner of the area. I can tell you that they were extremely active the whole time we were there! No sleeping today!
I was glad they were content by themselves for a while, and so Randy and I got the whole area ready for Monday, so that they have room to put all the kitchen boxes there. The new shelves Randy had put together were moved against the wall, the kitchen area cleared, the dining room table moved to the window, and the fridge around the corner. We also have cardboard on the floor everywhere. Randy also started on the baby bed which is his next project, to put it together.
After a while I joined the babies, and they were so excited, they immediately started climbing on top of me, and kept climbing over me in every which direction. They sure have energy! I also played with Sammy, who was so motivated, and practiced crawling with me. He did great!
As it got later, they started getting cranky, especially Sammy, and I knew it was time to go home, so we'd get there at a decent hour. Sammy was crying until the stroller started moving, and he soon fell asleep. He soon woke back up, though, and stayed awake, as the subway doors are pretty loud when they close. Tammy and Emmy had been so active that they soon fell asleep and slept all the way home. But I wanted them tired at bed time which was not that far off!
Back home, we fed them, and I put them to bed one after another. The boys were easy as always, and Tammy was difficult as she's been recently. At first I thought she was going straight to sleep, but that was not the case. She did her hysterical crying, wanting to pick her up, sitting up, standing up, then I come, put her down, stroke her head, walk away, she sits back up.... For once Randy was here and got to witness it. It took a long time before she was so tired from it all she finally fell asleep. And that's when I get to eat my dinner!
