I went to bed earlier last night and was more awake this morning. Emmy and Tammy always cry when they get tired and before they fall asleep. Sometimes they need help with that, and so I picked up Tammy and lay down with her. I regretted it, as it seemed she would have been better off falling asleep by herself. She was so tired, she cried really hard, and it took a long time for her to finally fall asleep. Though I was tired, I did not fall back asleep. She woke up happy over an hour later, and I ended up getting up earlier than usual.

One thing I wanted to do is look for an electrician who would come do the plugs in our future kitchen within the week. I had written emails to three companies on the weekend, and voilĂ , one had replied saying they could do it this week. I talked to them on the phone, and am waiting for the information how much it will cost, but we have an appointment for them to come Thursday and do it.

All five of us got fed before the arrival of our friend at 1 pm. He was bringing us a little table they don't need any more. The big surprise was that he brought another friend, a friend of ours we hadn't seen in a long time. What a great surprise!

Yesterday I had made pumpkin spaetzle from scratch, but Randy doesn't care much for pumpkin or for spaetzle. So I was glad to get to feed them and give them the leftovers to take with them. And they enjoyed eating it!

We had a great time with them; especially Emmy enjoyed our one friend, and our other friend, who is a minister, prayed for Sammy's healing.

Unfortunately they could not stay long, but we had thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

Emmy got a little nap in, but not the other two. And at 3 pm the lady from the mobile therapy support came for the first time to work with Sammy. I was hoping he'd not be too tired. It was really just a getting-to-know-each-other meeting. We all had to wear masks, which wasn't very fun. She didn't do much with Sammy in the 90 minutes she was here. She gave him some fabric to get a hold of, and just introduced herself to him. She said she'd need some floor space to work with him, and next week we'll be meeting at the new apartment.

Randy actually left before she left, as he was heading to the apartment to finish putting the second guest bed together, which he did. He got back home late tonight.

By the time the lady left, I had three cranky babies, as they were tired, and starting to get hungry. I put Emmy in the swing where he was content, but Tammy was not happy. Unfortunately she has to wait the longest, being the last one to be fed and put to bed. I was feeding Sammy, and his eyes were actually falling shut while eating! I had never seen him do that before! But he had been awake a long time. It's amazing he was not cranky while the lady was here, but actually smiling. But then she did not expect him to do stuff, like the lady at physiotherapy.

It's really challenging to add a bath to the routine before putting them to bed, when you have two other tired and hungry babies waiting for you. So I bathed Sammy as fast as possible, prayed fast, and put him to bed.

Emmy was next. By now Tammy was crying, and I found myself wishing there was something I could do for her, but there wasn't. I just talked to her, while feeding her brother. I weighed and bathed Emmy, always hearing Tammy's crying outside, and put him to bed. Emmy has been easy to put to bed recently, but not tonight. He was unhappy, crying, and I had to stroke his head a couple of times, with Tammy on my arm, before he fell asleep. In the course of the evening he sometimes wakes up crying, and will only go back to sleep, if I put his pacifier back into his mouth.

Tammy was happy to finally be in my arms. From experience I knew that eating might be a challenge in the state she was in, and I was right. I put a spoonful of food into her mouth, and she started crying. She was turned towards me, close to me, and as time went on, she did eat some food and stopped crying. However, the food was a little liquid and went EVERYwhere. Better than her not eating anything at all! We looked like we both needed a bath!

When I put her in the baby bathtub, I was surprised to see her freak out like she was afraid of the water. She loves baby swimming! What was going on? Last week I just thought she was so tired, but today her reaction was worse than then. So the bath was short.

Time to go to bed. Suddenly she was not that tired any more. She'd sit back up, stand up, and I'd have to come stroke her head over and over again. I was wondering if she'd ever fall asleep. It took me a whole hour before she finally did! But I don't take her out of bed anymore. I just put her back in her sleeping position on her belly over and over again, stroking her head, until she finally allowed sleep to come. Finally!

Today Tammy weighed 7.67 kilos (+0 since last week), Emmy 7.16 (+40 grams) and Sammy 6.38 (+80).
