HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
As soon as I got up this morning, I was rushed until we had to leave at 1:15 pm. But we got everyone fed, and were only late by a few minutes. We had to be at the apartment by 2 pm, as Ikea was going to deliver some shelves between 2 and 6 pm.
It was a cold and rainy day. I had to wake up Sammy when we left, and he wasn't happy. Tammy had slept before lunch, and Emmy was tired. When we got there, I put them all on the mattress in their play area, and closed it completely off. I started feeding them their middle meal one after another and joined them on the mattress. They sure kept me busy, climbing all over me and enjoying it. Emmy was still tired, but I never got him to sleep. Sammy was cranky and tired, and I finally got him to sleep. Tammy was really cranky because she was tired, and I was able to help her fall asleep. Emmy was actually playing nicely by himself while the other two were sleeping, and Randy was putting a fan up. I finally saw an opportunity to do some stuff myself, but I knew I had to take Emmy with me, so he would not wake the others up.
I went downstairs with him and moved some boxes, suicases and shelves. I also childproofed all the power outlets. Emmy was so tired, he would cry every time I set him down.
Not long after I returned him to his siblings, he woke the others up. Randy had finished the fan, and it was late and time to go home. All three were tired and crying now. So much fun! 🥴
Even though it was cold outside, it was really hot in the apartment, which is why I had taken all their clothes off. So we had to dress them all again first - another opportunity to cry.
Somehow the second pacifier had disappeared, as well as my face mask I'm required to wear in public transportation. So Randy gave me his mask and tied a baby shirt around his head. He looked like a bandit! Thankfully Emmy fell asleep fast, so Sammy could have the pacifier. Tammy and Sammy did not fall asleep on the way home, though they were tired.
Back home, it was time for the last meal of the day, so we fed them one after another, and I changed them and put them to bed one after another. Normally Sammy is first, but today he was last. The boys fell asleep right away, but not so Tammy. Randy was sitting right by her bed working, so she watched him for a while. I then stroked her head until she was nearly asleep and would not sit or stand up any more.
And that is when I get to cook, eat, and work, and when time flies too fast, while I'm trying to catch up on everything.
By the way, please pray we can find an electrician who'll put the plugs in in our kitchen within the week, or I won't have plugs and no vent.
