HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Thank you all for praying. The little ones are so much better. Tonight they all went to sleep normally, Tamara as well. She's the only one still coughing a little. She also ate her last meal tonight, thank God.
Today we left the house after lunch; we were a bit rushed, trying to eat ourselves before leaving the house, and made it to the apartment nearly on time. My Dad and his girlfriend met us there; it was their first time seeing the apartment.
The reason they were there is that my Dad has done electric stuff all his life and he said he'd look at the kitchen and the plugs we need to have put in the next less than two weeks, before the kitchen gets installed. I counted on him, but even though he can do it, he won't. I'm disappointed. You have to know that I've seen him more in the last year than all my life together, and I see him only every few months typically now, when it was every few years before the babies.
All we need is lines from the existing plugs to run on the outside of the wall to three other locations and put plugs on top of the wall there, that's it. Anyone else in Vienna could do that in the next 10 days? Tomorrow I'll see if I can find an electrician who is available and not too expensive. Randy said he could probably figure out how to do it, but things here are different than in America.
While my Dad looked at the kitchen, his girlfriend played with the babies, which was really cute. She really likes them. My Dad and Randy then left to go to the hardware store and buy all the parts, while the two of us stayed with the babies. The kids love that big mattress, and love that I can lie down with them, which I love too. Tammy crawled inside a shelf and needed help coming back out, and Emmy slept with his lower body on the inside. In fact, Sammy slept on the way there, but even though the other two were tired as well, they stayed awake in the subway. I don't know how they were suddenly not tired any more once there and just enjoyed playing in the area. At some point Emmy did lie down to sleep - without crying - and Tammy started whining because she was so tired, and I helped her fall asleep. By then Emmy was awake again. And my Dad and Randy back. Him and his girlfriend said their good-byes and left.
We didn't stay too much longer after that. Their dinner time was approaching, and I didn't want to get home too late, and there wasn't much Randy could do in a few minutes either. There's so much I'd like to do while there, but I simply can't do it when I have to watch the babies. We really need some people to come help watch them!
Once back home, I got their dinner ready, and I fed Sammy, as Randy has not been very successful with him recently, and it seems to work better when I feed him. He was the first one in bed, and fell asleep right away. Then came Emmy, and he fell asleep right away. Randy fed Tammy, who was finally herself again tonight, and when I put her down to sleep, she still played for a while, before I had to help her, stroke her head while lying down, and keep doing so until she was okay. I walked away before she was asleep, and she let me and fell asleep shortly after.
